Don Draper uses Affair!

It's not very effective...

Sally Draper uses Lose All Respect for Your Father!

It's a critical hit!

Microsoft should get Don Draper to do E3 tomorrow.

Incredible episode. Incredible ending. This show just continues making a mockery of everything else on TV.

I'm sad Betty is probably done this season, I think her sleeping with Don was her breakout part this season. Show still needs more of her but I'm happy with her role this season. Of course there are 2 episodes left so she may still have more to do, perhaps Sally will talk to her.

I knew he was gay as soon as Ginsberg asked.

Gotta ask, why? Because he gave him a motivational speech? A lot of people seemed to float this theory around, not obviously confirmed, but I never got what was supporting it. Those shorts seemed common for the times...

Maybe he's not gay. This could just be another in a long list of Bob's "climber" moments.

Based on Pete's non-reaction, maybe he detected that too. Bob wants to be Pete, but I don't think he wants to be with Pete.

EDIT: LOL, Weiner basically said as much in the "Inside Episode..." clip. I hope I'm right, because a homosexual Bob is a heck of a lot less interesting than hilariously clingy climber Bob.

The Bob scene makes me think a little less of him now. I kinda question if his motives are ever genuine, or if they're all designed to help him climb the ladder.

Only because Ginsberg is crazy and seems tuned to a higher frequency than most people. It's not a knock on anything Bob said or wore.

It could be another red herring though.

We will see. I'd say it's rather clear he just used Joan, but whether to get closer to Pete because he wants him or because he wants Pete to help him (or use Pete too) is unclear.

I don't know, that look on Bob's face as he left the room didn't seem like someone who just made a huge mistake.

I mean, he's on the Chevy account, he's been seen at Joan's house on the weekend, who's going to believe Pete that Bob made a pass at him?

Bob is gay. The way he said "right, of course" with the sad tone and sort of melancholy disappointment when Pete didn't get the message.

But if he is gay he is kinda broken with his gaydar. Pete just called manolo a degenerate.

Glad to see Peggy's baby getting some sort of intimation at least. I always thought they dismissed that very abruptly and indifferently, almost like they wanted to retcon it.

notice how Don couldn't get "in the door" with Sally, as he was trying to with Sylvia and failed/ did not get the chance because of grandma Ida..

I like the look Don had on his face every time Ted was throwing a little temper tantrum about their 'war'

Was a total Homer Simpson/Frank Grimes moment.

Wow, dat episode, mannn. Also, for the first time I got those insane "Megan's gonna die" vibes everyone else is talking about. When Sally's friend left to go take the trash down and she left the side door open I was like "HOLY SHIT, a murderer is gonna come in through the open door and stab her, holy shit!", especially since the camera lingered on the open door for awhile. Then they don't show Megan for like, 15 minutes. I was like "yo, they're gonna find her dead somewhere, man". Then she just turned out okay.

But that implication. Especially considering someone else had broken in when that same door was left open. I see you, Weiner, I see what you're doing. Either it's a sign of what's to come or he's deliberately dropping those red herrings when it's actually gonna be Benson who shoots Pete for jilting him.

Also, I think it's fair to say that Sally is gonna probably lose her virginity soon. Her character arc has previously struggled with her coming into her own sexually without having any real proper guidance as to how to handle it. Plus, having seen Roger get a blowjob and now seeing her father cheat on his wife, she's got such a warped view of sex that she is probably going to want to see what it's all about herself. There are some great parallels between Sally walking in on her father and Don's childhood in which he "walked in" on his mother having sex with his uncle. And look at how that changed him. While she is pretty young, I think it's safe to say her sexual future isn't looking too bright and will most likely be dealt with before the series (or maybe even season?) concludes.

What I'm saying is, she's probably going to do Matthew Weiner's son.

Edit: Oh, and that Microsoft joke was on the money, my good sir. Perfection.

llaaaaaaaaaawd Sally doesn't stand a chance in life lmao. and Don doesn't even give a shit really other than the fact that he got caught.

This season is just bowling me over, it keeps getting better and better.

Pete better not do anything to Bob, dammit. His mom was right with the "sour man" comment.
