Aimee Mann - The Forgotten Arm

So like, some of you have tried her stuff. I think matlock hated it, but I dont think we'd like the same things since I like music thats good.

Sadly her latest CD isnt a new favorite or anything, and its a definate mark of her evolution as an artists. Her music is becoming less folk and almost grass roots weird country fusion, which is neat. Her writing in Forgotten Arm was spot on but the imagery was never nearly as universal as Bachelor #2, Magnolia Soundtrack, or the fabulous Lost in Space Special Ed.

Regardless I picked up Forgotten Arm being a long time fan. I also picked up Hear Music Playlist #3 cause she sang with some loser and sadly the song sucked WTF AIMEE?!

I haven't had a chance to listen to The Forgotten Arm yet.

I think 3 Dog Night did it originally. I know Aimee didnt write it. One is off the magnolia soundtrack, as is Momentum.

The entire Magnolia Soundtrack is almost all Aimee Mann. Bachelor #2 is very Lost in Space era Aimee too so if you liked Lost in Space you should check those two out. If you dont have the SE edition of Lost in Space you might wanna at least download the second disc for the live BBC and unreleased stuff.

My aimee mann fandom is extremely focused on 4-5 cds. Even her first solo releases were a little too Til Tuesday for me to get into it. I do have the Til Tuesday greatest hit cd tho haha.
