DailyMTG will reveal the rest of the set on Monday.
Good to hear. That being said, WOTC really needs to spread out their spoiler seasons. Getting 70+ cards dumped on us all in one day is a bit overwhelming. Spoiler season should have started as soon as the New Year started or even earlier. Give all the cards the appropriate time to breathe.
I miss the good old days when entire sets would be spoiled weeks before the pre-release.
I'm looking for a good magic clone on the iPhone. Anyone got suggestions? Many thanks!
I guess my obsession with this game has run its course. Havent played in months and now im sitting on hundreds of dollars worth of cards. I dont want to get rid of them but feel like i should.
You're just in time for the Dark Ascension pre-release!
Bail out now or else give wizards all your money
DON'T TEMPT ME!!!
ALL YOUR MONEY

Ascension
Moonga
Dungeon Sol
Kard Combat
All great, easy to learn card games for iOS. All have free trials except Ascension. A Beta for Moonga is actually on Facebook now too.
I haven't played it, but a bunch of Magic pros love Ascension. It was actually created by former Magic pro Justin Gary.
It's a fun game actually. Your goal is to make the best deck. I'm trying to get the actual board game but the shipping is always so high.
Kard Combat was designed by none other than Richard Garfield himself. Cards in the game are drawn by former MTG artists from the early days too.
But why the hell is this mythic?

It really isn't, though. See Elixir of Immortality.Shuffling your graveyard into your library is pretty huge, especially if you're fighting a mill deck.
Not really a good reason to make the card mythic though. I would expect something a lot bigger in scope from a mythic sorcery with cmc 8.
I'm also surprised that some cards have pretty bad flavor, such as Chalice of Life/Chalice of Death. Chalice of Death just...doesn't really make much sense. How exactly are you gonna damage your opponent with a chalice ?
its a metaphor for alcoholism. Why would my opponent drink from a chalice called "Chalice of Death" that looks rather uninviting ? The effect is also repeatable, why would he drink more than once from it ? Obviously you don't throw the chalice at your opponent, otherwise you probably could only use it once. So I guess you...throw whatever is in the chalice at your opponent ? I know I'm overthinking this, but it really sticks out for me.

Definitely think Curse of Exhaustion is going to be a heavily used card
:lol
I'm picturing a great scenario for the THG game I'll be playing at the pre-release where my partner runs a Curse of Exhaustion and I'm playing Werewolves

Maybe they just want to continue tricking new players into thinking that life gain is good.
That UW spirit lord is gonna be an expensive uncommon.

Drool.
Wow I hadn't seen this, lords that give shroud/hexproof are pretty busted.

Life gain is only bad as a direct effect. As a rider it can be surprisingly potent.
