In case you didn't know/want to share your name. I think it's determined by name privacy settings.

Real Name request message is fucking creepy sounding lol

They were absolutely gassing but PS4 has been significantly worse than PS3 in terms of online stability.

Just hold the power button for 30 seconds until it beeps, it'll shut off completely, then restart it. It'll be fixed no problem.

I waited a few minutes and pulled the plug. Says not too but network indicator on my powerline was inactive so it wasn't stuck managing saves. System was fine on restart. I put it into standby and it worked, but I left for the day and didn't try again.

Edit: I guess holding power for 30 seconds does it too, but I didn't know to hold it THAT long.

they were gassing a bit but the PS3 era PSN was alright for the most part.

i think PS4 is really exposing the true PSN that wasn't utilized in the PS3 era.

Just got home. Turned system on, OK'd it updating, went through and worked fine. Downloading Costume Quest 2 and seems like no issues.

Just FYI as I know bad news tends to be over-reported.

Loved, LOVED, this update. Friends list loads almost instantly, great. Love the new icons for notifications too. BUT, I got a message and pressed the PS button to read it... there wasn't anything there. So yeah not everything was fixed. :/

Also, Sony please make the touchpad worth: make it a "home" button like it is used in Driveclub... please!
