My favorite franchise from the PS3/360 era. OG Gears of War was such a landmark title for me. Felt like it kicked off the generation with the crazy visuals, co-op, and multiplayer modes. I remember being blown away by the graphics when I first got my hands on it. So many memories…

I'm too lazy to watch right now, but is this just the footage that came with the gears of war limited edition on Xbox 360?

That is more about cliffy b losing his girlfriend, launching a successful game and winning her back? Oh and driving his bosses car. (rather than actually being about gears, it has a dancing brumak though)

It is two different documentaries. The first 30 minutes is about the game's development with interviews from developers and voice actors. The rest is more like what you're describing with bad CG and Cliffy driving Tim Sweeney's car.
