They need to get something going here. Flashbacks and hugs aren't doing it for me. The "morality" flip with Souichirou's comment was a nice touch along with Kurosaki's realization. But these chapters are just bleeding into typical shoujo when DD is not supposed to be typical shoujo. Somebody kidnap somebody already. *Oh yea, there is that "cellphone" analysis bit. So yea, get that shit going and stop having death anniversaries.

It's too bad Reversible! School Life only has 8 chapters out so far. Especially since it seems like it's heading in to slightly interesting territory. It feels and looks like an ecchi shounen romcom/drama but with a school where half the all male student body is forced to alternate between cross dressing every week. Despite this only two characters have been confirmed to be gay; the others are straight.

Let's recap: the chapter that was released this week involved a scenario in which all of the female characters were hit by some magic spell that made them turn 10 years old, and yet they were still given multiple nudity shots per character. It's seems to me its exactly what I said it was.

It's been a while since I laughed so much while reading a single volume of manga. Most of the humor comes from Homare, the main girl, being a bit of a pervert that ends causing troubles for the family she's been "dumped" on, but it's the completely open and honest way she goes about it that made me laugh so much... and also how she nonchalantly does things that border on trolls i.e. getting Masamune to name the clams they picked on the beach, only to present them boiled to him the day after, much to his dismay.
Of the 3 brothers, I actually like the younger one, since he seems the most fun, though even their father is pretty fun.

Yeah, it's not great, but its basically the foundation of the entire series. If you don't read it you'll be (more) confused when you read subsequent parts
I figured that might be the case, oh well, I've read plenty of not so great stuff before, and by the sounds of it, JoJo does get really good in the later series. I'll give it a try.

I actually didn't like part 1 at all, but it was required for the better part 2 and the absolutely amazing parts 3 and 4. I don't regret it at all.
Part 1 is required reading. Even if it didn't tie into the overall story, you'd miss out on panels of Speedwagon and Zepelli.

Wow, what a volume. Seeing Ando trying with all his might to get close to Inukai, only to finally lose that little bit of strength he had left just as he was about to reach his goal, it was damn touching, and sad. Yeah it was sad, and even more sad that I started hoping that the scene would be meaningful, that he was really dying and not that I'd just find him miraculously saved in the next chapter, hoping for his brother to avenge him and put a stop to Inukai, but brushing it aside, because it usually this doesn't happen, the protagonist doesn't just get killed off without fulfilling his goal, but then I read Ando chapter end as I turn the page and realize that Ando did indeed die.
Powerful, really a powerful event.
Now it's going to be interesting to see his brother track down the people that wanted Ando dead, find out who/what killed Ando and how and hopefully stopping Inukai in place of his dead brother.

I've seen the way characters dress in Jojo and I'm not ready to affix the term "manly" to it.
Just saw it. Yea, I'm not into that stuff either. Still, to me that's the opposite of porn as I don't see the appeal. And for the previous creepy comment? It can certainly be unsettling content, I'll give you that. I still wouldn't call people who read it creepy especially since it is just one chapter with this theme. It's not hard to read and quickly turn the page. Or just gloss over it.
Most of TLRD is fan-service on females with full development as is most fan-service heavy manga. And I surely don't have anything against fully developed females. If there is a chapter like this one for TLRD, I'll just gloss over it and move on. If you are someone who finds even a single chapter in the bunch like this to be offensive enough to stop a read? Then, don't read borderline-H manga. Pretty simple.
Already stated it. Just like aunt tits, it's comedy. I don't see much material in other media with body swapping, mayonnaise accidents, and some weird reverse showering shit. lol It is just complete ridiculous nonsense and they just so happen to show nudity. I also read and enjoy plenty of romcoms without nudity. The nature of the jokes though for series like TLR sort of constitute it.
