Characters not being relevant in later chapters has nothing to do with pacing (it has to do with storytelling). Regardless this chapter had about what is, at average, a volume's worth of what Bleach usually contains.

Read summaries of the stuff to come, and Tatsuya really is ridiculously broken though. That whole underdog act is obliterated in the later volumes.
Really interested in seeing how their involvement with the Yotsuba family plays out... And I'm thankful it didn't go into the ridiculous harem/romcom territory—though the guy's popular, it isn't really entertained much.

The introductions...weren't really introduction time. He simply showed them, and also put what seat they were to show what the Quincy's were fucking with. It's not like we got their story or anything. This chapter was well paced, as the arc has been.

I think the introductions thing can be good if it's executed right, since it's a subversion. Something like Kumagawa one-shotting the 6 characters at the end of the Flask Plan arc.

I never like Bleach and have no false illusions of it ever being able to "give what I want", it's too far down the rabbit hole for that.
I'm just extremely surprised this is what's apparently considered a great Bleach chapter by some.
The last time I liked Bleach it was still about a boy who could see ghosts.

As for NISEKOI, yea I get this feeling that she's not really telling the truth. I don't know why.
And for crying out loud, I know this is a common cliched trope used by everyone and their mothers but a lot of the situations in NISEKOI can be resolved in 10 minutes tops if the main character is a bit assertive instead of spewing "it can't be, it can't be, it can't be, nah it can't be"

Just get out from that death-trap, really. There are tons of other great romantic series you can jump into without having to suffer the utter stupidity of Souji's characters (his art is rather nice though, I admit)

Photo Kano - Sweet Snap 1-6
So, some how I tricked myself into reading this rubbish. It's based on a PSP galge somewhat like Amagami I guess I got hooked by Siliconera "Pokemon Snap with Dating Sim". I mean who doesn't like Pokemon Snap.
Anyways this version is alright, it focuses on the childhood friend arc mostly, the art is inconsistent but ok and there's pantyshots for no reason in panels that sometimes make no sense, like they are placed in a way that the reader sees them and the MC doesn't. Going lower than regular harem standards.
Photo Kano - Your eyes only 1-4
Goes in with the same setup but introduces more characters and surprisingly doesn't feature any gratuitous shots. The art is also better than Sweet Snap. All in all I wouldn't pick it up, I was expecting something like Ginen Shounen not that that is any good but, something about cameras is interesting. I want something like Fatal Frame though.

Character reveals and removal have everything to do with pacing. And your desired pacing leaning more towards franticness does not mean a chapter is good nor does it imply "proper" pacing. All you seem to be stating each week is that a chapter is objectively bad if it doesn't suit your tastes or good if it does. That's why I can't take your opinions seriously since you don't understand what objective actually means. The dynamics of pacing it seems as well.

Funny how Kubo doesn't give a fuck about kiba, but the filler dudes tend to love him. His sword probably has one of the more interesting properties. The potential of a broken ass bankai is there.

Unlike some here, I actually enjoy the Kage vs Madara battle and the combination attack was cool. Sadly it amounted to another Susanoo form and a painfully predictable ending of Madara owning the kages only to disappear right before he kills them due to Edo Tensei being cancelled. Kinda undermines the whole fight but at least there have been some sweet jutsus in this battle, namely from Madara. It's kind of sad that fully resurrecting Madara and having him betray Tobi and becoming the final villain would be a more interesting turnout than Tobi as the final antagonist. Madara is truly a beast and finding a way to defeat him without the Edo Tensei shit would have been a pretty cool endgame. Oh well. I just want to see what Tobi is truly made of at this point. We've seen his parlor tricks, what kind of attack jutsus can he pull out of his hat?

Boring again. This chapter also felt like half a chapter it was so quick. I realize that the plot progressed and I have no complaints there, I just don't give a shit about any of the characters that were just wiped out, they are all just fodder which is how you have to start, of course. This brings me back to how the Naruto war started and the complaints on here. Guess I shouldn't be a hypocrite and just be patient until the few interesting characters take the stage. I do like that the Quincies are fucking shit up in SS, however. It's a pretty big plot hole how they are this strong but didn't try to stop Aizen from destroying everything earlier. Maybe that will get explained later, we'll see.

Also boring this week but at least we got to see what happened to Zoro's party finally which is good. Everyone is together now so next chapter should be far more interesting. Law is going to have to get used to Luffy's shenanigans haha

Wow, they actually more or less answered both of my remaining questions already! Why Bermuda is still in the arcebelano form and where the eighth element came from. Although that latter was a bullshit explanation but at least we know where it came from. Really weird for me that Reborn has been the most interesting shonen these last two weeks. Now that all the revelations are largely over, that will change as it will go back to typical fair. Fight against Bermuda and his top guy should be interesting at least. Also, although I feel the future arc still felt like the best way to cap off the series, I will say checkerface is an antagonist worthy of endgame and stronger than Byakuran being that he controls the triumvirate of power or whatever the hell it's called. I look forward to learning more about him and seeing what he can do in the future as well as the true significance of the pacifiers.
Do series ever end without the mangaka announcing that it's on the final arc? I could see the series ending with this arc, but you never know. The Arcebelano/pacifiers and the Vindice were the only remaining and ongoing mysteries in the series so there's really no need to continue after this.

What the hell? They talk up the strength of the monsters, there's only one S class so you expect it to be a beast and a good fight for Erza, and then she just unceremoniously beats all of them pretty much off screen? WTF? LAME.

At least the future arc gave some impressions of that but usually something along those lines is right where a series ends. Reborn's ultimate goal is to get Tsuna to become the Tenth, to truly embrace it. If things are built up to that goal, the series could end with the ceremony. Much like I expect Naruto to become Hokage at the end (probably a quick jump to the future for a panel or two) but I don't expect to see him do anything as Hokage.
