Seems this might be better than his last work as its a bit more focused. That isn't exactly saying much but at least the author didn't outdo himself

Edit: Top of the page again right after my last post. It's a bit freaky

Saw this at a bookstore today and just had to pick it up. Been long enough for a reread anyways! (Also got Serial Experiments Lain, which I have heard of but never watched, so why not)

Warashibe Tantei Numa Shichirou

An one shot from the Reborn mangaka about a detective who trades as his fee.

Well on the plus side, the story was a lot better than her last one shot. It didn't fall apart in the end so points to her. It wasn't bad, but can't see anything being developed from this.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Solanin legit the only good thing Asano ever wrote.

Man it gets so angsty.
Gets real angsty. I didn't care for it much, but I'm also not a big fan of angst.
So it seems like from what you guys are saying the manga gets better later on. Exciting.

I remember not being too fond of the MC when I read this and I don't think I ever finished (though I might be confusing it with something else?). Maybe I should give it a second chance, I was less forgiving back then :D In some respects, that is...

It's very easy to confuse lots of yuri series with how similar they are and some of them sometimes just end up being unmemorable.

Poor magician, still out there. Winter King is typical villain. Guess things had to take a dramatic turn eventually. Enjoying myself so far.

I need some help.

Does anyone know any manga that's similar to Space Adventure Cobra?
By the way, the colorized Cobra manga is GORGEOUS.

After 18 chapters I'm still enjoying this manga. Hopefully it keeps up even when the eventual drama happens.

I just want to know where's my goddamn rage? Normally by this point in a Seo manga there'd be something to rage over. I can only assume its coming and it'll be huge when it gets here.

I'm amazed that he actually told Tomo that she's his favorite girl. Also, Tomo being proud about getting hit on, and her general lack of poker face is great.

I hope there's more of our favorite lewd yandere Ougi next chapter

This beautifully drawn story encapsulates perfectly everything about the spirit of Kill la Kill, as it shows us how the four Devas and Satsuki overcome a certain secret right after Ryuuko and Satsuki's first God Robes battle.

The only downside to this work, and what really holds it from becoming a masterpiece, is the fact Mako isn't in it. Other than that, I'll give it 9 nosebleeds out of 10.

I salute your good taste sir/madam, especially for picking up Lain.

For you guys the rage will kick in the moment the manga could easily end, with the main girl being already chosen, and she in turn chooses the main guy. There is always a catch though, a catch full of drama.

Well...I read from ch 30, that's where i stopped.
How do i describe this manga? Soft porn, action, making you eat even tho you're not hungry and funny!
I fell in love of this manga so badly!
The old man getting a boner from megumi made me laugh so hard.
Kurokiba is one multiple personilty mad man, creep the shit out of me.
Yukihira idea of using those balls on the rice blew my mind, the reaction of everyone was priceless, he destroyed alice, also it seems every girl is falling for yukihira.
Can't wait for the next chapter.

Youkai Shoujo ch1-6

It's, uh... It starts off as, well, an average smutty romcom, then gets, err, smuttier, but also more interesting as far as the MC's motivations go. Kind of a little early to tell how it will develop, aside from the smut.

Mmm let's read the summary...

Imagine a country where couples are chosen based on the compatibility of their genes. Whenever a resident reaches the age of 14, a partner will be suggested to him or her based on which match would result in the best child being born.

This is a collection of stories about some of the more "interesting" pairings chosen by this system.

Ok, could be good...
first story, the system put together brother and sister. Goddamnit Japan.

Parasite end

All in all I thought it was sort of mediocre.

It started out pretty good with the mass killings and some of the relationships between the parasites were intriguing, but none of the elements lived up to their potential. I liked Shinji's transformation and development, but I sort of felt it was ruined by the ending. The ending in general felt a bit rushed ("Migi died on his way back to his home planet") and I was hoping for an interesting outcome, but it was relatively tame. A bit too happy for me.

It was okay. I would not read it again and I'd only recommending it as a filler manga.

I think there is difference between the official translation and the scantlation. As I read the latter, there isn't a single line indicated that Migi being died. The last two chapters tell us that Migi going to sleep since his experience melding with the invunerable being have given him so much experience that he can goes to sleep for the rest of Shinichi's lifetime. The ending for me was not being rushed at all, and I think it's the natural conclusion for Migi to went to hibernation since it's subtly indicated he changed a lot during his meld with the invunerable being, and that quite possibly disturbed him that he might harm Shinichi someday.

What? I hate the music direction it's going in. By this time I was already really digging both A Town Where You Live and Suzuka. I believe by Chapter 7 Yamato got rejected and at Chapter 18 Haruto gets rejected by Nanami. Fuuka is tame compared to his other works. It feels like a bunch of filler so far. And I hate the music direction it's headed towards. Did I mention how I hate how this manga is going to be about a band?
