Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
If you want to upload a few panels that highlight it it would be easier to compare with the direct panels in Japanese (hopefully from somewhere before ch96)

I only read the Soma vs Alice match in Japanese, and I don't know what a valley girl is, but I guess I remember her speaking in a sorta-cutesy way in some gag panels (like with Soma)

bullshit

pandas cant read moonrunes

Akame ga Kill! 55

Okay, I guess that was the whole chapter. It ended on a really abrupt note, and nothing much happened.
Like Esdeath will die when she gets hit with Akame's sword once. I bet her new trump card is directly designed to counter it.
It's blood freezing.

I guess Budou jobbed again and no one died miraculously.
...I thought this was supposed to be the Christmas chapter.

I don't know how the manga can continue much longer once Esdeath and Budo die, unless the emperor and prime minister have some bullshit final boss teigu

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal 49

Why did Shark have to lose. He could have been around to be a part of the winning combo.

But anyway that loop combo was incredible. I was laughing at E'rah's shocked face from having her cards excluded one by one and used as overlays for Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy.

Though what is she summoning in perhaps our final chapter or two.

yep. No matter what age, sex or race if you live over here you're probably fuck ugly.

I realise you're being facetious but plastic surgery is becoming more and more common here. We still don't have a culture around it like Korea/America, but it's definitely becoming more common.

Our Asian representation in that regard is mainly Chinese, and to be fair they're generally better looking than we are.

yah but you all have delightful accents

I can't wait until the AGK ending is just a longer version of the anime end

"Enormous Great Sword"

Just call it a Buster Sword.

Everyone knows that's a Buster Sword.

Use some asterisk if you have to avoid any SE copyright stuff.

you know the other day I realized something, I really like tokyo ghoul, like, a lot. I haven't enjoyed a manga this much since Fullmetal Alchemist. I mean I'm also reading JoJo but I can't compare JoJo to TG cause JoJo is on a completely other level, JoJo is the greatest anime/manga of our lifetime. there, I said it. But anyways back to TG, I love it, I enjoy it so much that I'm upset that the translator's are uploading Re late now, like I know I shouldn't be like that cause afterall, they do this on their free time cause they like doing it, but I'd be a liar if I said it doesn't bother me >_>

I started reading Shokugeki no Soma/Food Wars! for a laugh last night, and finished reading it today. Really surprised me how much it engrossed me into it. There's a lot to it that makes it feel like any other battle shounen (or maybe sports manga? With all the nicknames everyone has), but it's funny how recontextualizing all of it into the world of food and competitive cooking makes it all feel so much more palpable. There's something inherently charming about injecting the drama and passion of more strictly traditional battle shounen into competitive cooking. Doesn't hurt the setting actually lends itself really well to many of the classic tropes, like, of course a chef is going to need to explain how their dish works and what makes it up. It grounds itself in authentic elements of cuisine, but the element of absurdity (particularly in the reactions) really lends flavour (hurrhurr) to the whole thing.

Nothing about the outcomes of the fights really surprise me, especially concerning Souma himself, but I can put it out of mind simply because I'm having a lot of fun.

Tadokoro > Isshiki > Alice > everyone else BTW.

Still can't say I'm looking forward to the animated adaptation, but I'm definitely gonna continue keeping up with this.

Somehow I had forgotten who the author was at first until I realized it was the same one behind Sora no Shita Yane no Naka. The characters in the first story especially looked like Kanae and co from the previous series. All the other stories were pretty nice, the last one with Aki and his habits when responding via text is one of those all too familiar subjects for me.

Mangaka probably thought he done fucked up by making an unbeatable antagonist, then proceeds to make him (Budou) a jobber.

Fuck the mangaka.

Hagoromo Mishin
Neat story about a swan falling in love with a human and becoming a human in order to see him. Kinda nice that the guy coming to like her wasn't the entire focus and put some of the other characters in the spotlight.

Getenrou
To think what started as a tale of three horny middle schoolers looking for porn spiraled into a crazy ass murder story with robots and artificial life.
