Knoxville, Tennessee next up. Tornado warning there.
Parkersburg, WV here.
We're in for some crazy wind and storms but I dont think we have a tornado watch yet.
Fuuu...
Yeap. You can see it directly west, any minute now.Is Huntington going to get rocked?
I live in Batavia, OH and it got pretty nasty here, but the bad stuff was just south of us. Definitely the worst storm I've seen through here in a while. I can't remember anything in our area last year that looked as bad as this.
For West Virginia-GAF, buckle down if you're in Huntington, or west of Charleston, you're about to get pounded. If you're in Charleston, get ready to buckle down within a half hour or so. We are in a tornado watch, so be safe and be ready. There is a cell headed right for Charleston that has had produced a few tornadoes already.
And Pies & Pints! As long as Fat Patty's survives, we can rebuild.
Is Kenton County, KY OK? My parents are down there...
Sounds like several towns have been hit VERY hard. Sounds like were going to see mass casualties.
You know, for some reason my weather.com app was set to Atlanta. I knew something seemed off, and I guess there was. Sorry about that.I don't think it's supposed to storm here anymore for a while. Where are you getting your info?
Radar pic of west liberty KY tornado......... mother of god.
never heard this before, but tornado emergency for fentress co. tn.
Nothing happened at UT Knoxville. I've been inside for a while but I went out during the warnings and it wasn't even raining and it was barely windy where I was.Knoxville, Tennessee next up. Tornado warning there.
Damn, have family in AL. Hope they keep safe, along with any of you GAFers in harms way.
It got hit pretty bad. Have you been able to contact them, zmoney?

A reporter from the Fox affiliate in Louisville caught the tornado on camera as he was sheltering from it.

Good to know, thanks for the update! =)From what I just heard, there is only one system left with a strong chance of producing a tornado. It's moving ENE through Demopolis (west-central AL on the state line) right now.
The several other storm systems that are present will produce heavy straight-line winds and hail but aren't very likely to produce a tornado.

A friend of mine is visiting North Carolina right now, any word on what's going on there?
