Let's talk potential cinderellas:
The hot pick right now seems to be West Virginia, and for good reason. They are just rolling right now and have lots of momentum.
For all the hate the Big Ten gets this year (it's been having it's WORST YEAR EVER for like 4 years now, according to some members of the media), their style of play usually succeeds in the tournament. I expect Illinois to win it all, but watch out for a team like Michigan State and Wisconsin.
As for teams that aren't cinderellas that I like (or don't like):
It's hard not to pick UNC this year, they are damn good.
What about the Pac-10? I'm not too impressed by Arizona or Washington, although I like Washington more and think they have the best chance of making a deep run from that conference.
Louisville is pretty good.
Looking at
ESPN's bracketology, if that is close to the final bracket, I don't see many first round upsets. But I have to support my campus: go UW-Milwaukee! Panther pride!! We almost beat Notre Dame two years ago in the first round
And OMG!!! at Louisville and Memphis. Holy shit, that Memphis player
