Yeah, the Gators are rolling. But Kentucky played the late game last night in overtime, and it's starting to effect them. I wonder how the #1 seed picture will look after this one.

Speaking of the Kentucky game, is one of their players named Boo Radley? I keep hearing that name and think about To Kill a Mockingbird :lol

Yep, UF's got this in the bag, good for them I say.

Ugh, i'll puke if there are 3 ACC teams as #1 seeds. No matter though, seeing as how probably only 1 will actually get to the Final Four. :D

Ramel Bradley.

Kentucky falls to a #2 seed because the loss was SO bad. All they had to do was play close and the #1 seed was locked up. Who moves in to a #2 seed? Hard to say. They won't give three #1s to the ACC Though.

Losing-up-the-ass-multiple-times-a-week Kansas? If it floats the committee's boats I guess.

Losses were close, nobody had a tougher schedule, and they beat a lot of good teams. Who deserves it more? Kentucky had maybe 3-4 wins over top 25 teams all year. Duke you could make a case for, but they lost 6 games too and I just don't see the committee picking 3 ACC teams as 1 seeds. #6 Louisville only lost 4 times but their schedule was cake. It comes down to Duke and Kansas IMO and Kansas will get it.

I think I'll agree with CBS and say it's going to be Illinois/UNC/Duke/Wake for the #1 seeds.

edit:

I'm sure I'll be beating my head against the wall tomorrow when Bynum shoots ~ 3-15 for 8 pts or something like that.

W. Bynum: 4-17 FG, 0-7 3PT FG, 14 pts (6-7 from FT line).

Who called it?

You aren't even in consideration for a #1 seed. Sorry, but who have you beat all year? Yes, it matters.

We did get spanked though.

Nah, acc will not get 3 #1 seeds. Washington will get one. If acc gets 3 #1s, and washington doesn't get one, that would be a crime.

I'd give a #1 to okie state before I'd give one to washington, but that's just me. Oh, and Kentucky has to be the most overrated team in the world.

Yep, OK St would be my other choice to get a 1. Still think Washington deserves it on paper (rpi, record versus top 50, etc).

The selection show is horrible. Name the fucking teams and talk about them later. 25 minutes in and we've got half the field. Oh yea, and seeing every single teams reaction to getting in is really cool too!111

And when all of these things happen, Louisville still will not be a #1 seed.

:lol :lol :lol

Also, HOORAY for the selection of Northern Iowa. I thought they were done for sure, but this is a very good team. Gave Georgia Tech a real game in the first round last year, and they have a star player in Ben Jacobson.

I don't know who here hates/loves Louisville (i'm indifferent, don't fall into either camp), but you gotta admit they got dicked with that #4 seed. They won out their conference tourney, haven't lost in over a month, wtf else were they supposed to do?

They were supposed to be in a power conference. Come on, I know you know how it works.

Play in a good conference? Win against good teams? They won their conference tournament against a team that didn't even make the field. How many other "major" conference champs can say that?

Yes, Lousville got by far the worse seed of the tourney. I really think Lunardi could do a much better job than the clowns that pick these brackets.

Louisville seems like they should be higher than a #4, but when I look at all the #1-3 seeds, I think those teams are better. Except for UConn. How they got a #2 seed is beyond me, since their RPI doesn't merit it at all and they lost in their tourny semi-final. Must be their rep and the way they closed the regular season.

Illinois gets a brutal bracket. Duke gets a #1 seed and soft draw. There's going to be some bitching over this.

Florida only got a 4 seed. What shit is that. 3 or 2 seed please.

Regardless, UF shouldn't have much of a problem getting to the sweet 16. We have beat UNC before, and we certainly can do it again.

Also, while you may say Louisville got screwed with a 4 seed, it also scored them the Nashville pod. Hard to really complain about that. 2 hours straight down I-65. Closer than their conference tournament. They should be able to bring plenty of fan. They are undeniably the "home" team in that pod. Kentucky certainly can't say the same, as we have to compete with fans from Cincinatti and Illinois in our pod.

a Duke/UNC match-up in the final four would be so very awesome.

Illinois vs. UNC, baby.

THE ONLY WAY IT CAN BE SETTLED.

The UNC bracket is stacked as well, got some big boys in there. Looking at those brackets, Illini and UNC are already getting into tough matchups in the 2nd rounds. If those two make it, they get serious respect from me.We can all agree Duke got a cupcake (relatively) bracket.

I know I certainly have no problems playing in the Duke bracket. Looks pretty nice. Though matching Kentucky with EKU in the first round is complete bullshit. S-curve my ass. That game is a storyline game and nothing else.

Pitt a ninth seed. :lol

Oh, well, at least they're in the easiest region. Hopefully they don't choke ass like they have all season.

Screwed on seeding......

Like the bracket......I see a lot of upsets happening, with Louisville coming out

Kentucky should be worried.....hyped up Eastern Kentucky in the first round, CUSA team they've been avoiding for years in the 2nd.......with Duke looming. Wouldn't switch spots with you guys

God damn UNC's bracket is STACKED. UConn, Kansas, Villanova, and Florida. Damn, the potential matchups are awesome:

Forida/Villanova in the SECOND ROUND!
UNC and Florida/Villanova will be an awesome Sweet 16 game.
Think about the UNC/UConn, UNC/Kansas, Villanova/UConn, Villanova/Kansas, Florida/UConn, Florida/Kansas regional final possiblities!

BTW, Duke will get bounced in the Sweet 16 by Syracuse. You heard it here first!

First Glance Final Four matchups:

Illionis vs Wake Forest
UNC vs Oklahoma (sleeper pick!)

How much would it cost to get Billy Packer killed? The tournament hasn't even started yet, and he's already pissing me off.

Damn, Ok. State got a tough draw--we've got either Southern Ill. or Saint Mary's in the second round, followed by (likely) Arizona then Illinois. When we play our best we can beat anyone (including the Illini), and I also happen to think the Big Ten and Pac-10 are a bit soft. Hopefully I'm right :)

Once again...

GO POKES!!!
