T-minus 2 hours and ticking.
First game out the gate is an interstate match between Eastern Kentucky and Kentucky. I've got Kentucky advancing, but something tells me this isn't gonna be blowout city.
Soon after is Alabama vs. Wisc-Milwaukee. Everyone seems to have Alabama being upset in this matchup, but not I.

Alabama has a hard road to comeback on, especially with the Panthers shooting 65%.
But a couple of key Panther players are already in foul trouble. That may benefit Bama later in the game.

I got 'Bama upsetting BC next round, fuckers better wake up and pull it around or I'm in for some early pain in the bracket wars.

Three-point shots usually even out in second half of games. Alabama could pull their head out of their ass and actually play and they might be able to come back.
At least Vandy and South Carolina won their 1st NIT games. So the SEC isn't a complete bust yet ;-) I don't know the stats of any of the games, but Bama, if they haven't so far, needs to force it inside. They did a good job of doing that against UF in the SEC tournament and got a lot of offensive rebounds and second chance points out it. Of course if Wisc.-Milwaukee has a good low post presence I guess that won't work too well. *sigh*

Just a little bit of trivia. The original March Madness is the Illinois High School playoffs. Thats where the NCAA got the name. The state tournament is also on tomorrow and Saturday. Making them easily the two best days of basketball all year.
oh and Illinois high School basketball > NBA aswell.
