Nothing, UAB
* played well. Speaking as a diehard Louisville
* fan, It's how underated C-USA is, and continues to be. If I was UK, I'd be very concerned right now about the Cincinatti
* game on Saturday. Lets not make it three years in a row they get put out of the tourney by a team from "horrible" C-USA. :lol Should be entertaining. I'm fed up with people ragging on C-USA. We get no respect, yet every year it's the same scenario.
Louisville has beat UAB twice this year in conference play. We've beat two SEC teams -- Florida & the Vols, and only lost to the third SEC team -- Kentucky -- by a hair. (I still say Sparks travelled with the ball, but whatever!) We've also beat Cincy twice, once of course on their home floor. Cincy just destroyed Iowa today BTW. Somehow the selection commitee still finds a way to give Louisville a number 4 seed, even though we have the most wins among all 64 tournament teams sans Illinois. We won the regular season conference championship, and our conference tourney championship. Not to mention we've won something like 18 of our last 19 games, a lot of those being road wins. Don't forget we're #4 in both the USA Today/AP Poll. Well ahead of PLENTY of the teams that are ranked above us in the tourney. We had a very strong finish to the end of our season, so that can't be an issue, hell we won our conference
outright for crying out loud.
A 4 seed my ass. Redemption shall be ours...starting Saturday when Cincy's Jason Maxiell punishes UK's frontcourt on the way to victory. Down with the overated SEC!
The "mighty" SEC Vs. "feeble & weak" C-USA
2005 - UK vs Cincinatti = You do the math.
2004 - UK vs UAB = UAB wins.
2003 - UK vs Marquette = Marquette
* wins.
And rag all you want about how Louisville lost first round last year. It won't happen again this year. I really don't have that much of an issue with UK, I'm just sick and tired of UK fans, and SEC supporters in general...fuck it
the entire general public, disrespecting our conference like it's not a competetive conference. A lot of teams from these so-called power conferences would be mighty surprised if they played our schedule. It's not as easy as it looks partna!
