The finish of Smackdown's main event fills me with chokeslam related sorrow.
Show kicks out of a top rope chokeslam on two, wins with one of the worst showstoppers I've seen in some time, this irks me more than it really should.

Honestly? Winning that trophy is probably better in the long term than beating Swagger in a undercard Mania match.

Same. I was hoping for Cesaro vs Jack Swagger. If Cesaro loses he has to remain in the Real Americans. Some of these stars need to start taking risks and asking for pushes. Cesaro could be excellent with a slight change in his gimmick taking place at WM.

A Cesaro/Swagger break up coming through the Battle Royal that leads to a blow off match at ER would probably be the best thing for them. A singles match like that wouldn't get much time on that Mania card. A Battle Royal gives him a better chance to have a start making moment than a match with Swagger would, too.
They are in kind of a tight spot there. Cesaro is obviously better positioned for a face turn right now, but I think they want to keep him with Zeb and how do you make Zeb face? A Cesaro without Zeb probably isn't getting much in the way of promo or mic time so any sort of push wouldn't be sustained.

The post-show dark matches like the rest of us main eventers!
He is turning face. He is going to get a push after WrestleMania. Also, him winning that trophy is probably better than him having 6-7 match at WrestleMania that will be overshadowed.
The top 4 matches alone take up half of WrestleMania. After the 4 matches they have the battle royal, a divas match, a tag team title match and a shield match. All they need is a preshow match but a good thing to do is start the battle royal on the preshow then to see the rest order the pay per view.
So the card is basically filled.
