Bad item system, bump physics, and overall balance.
The game's still fun, though.
And still better than Wii IMO
This game, in my opinion, it's the most competitive one
Don't really have those problems. Items work by distance now, not placement
It would be nice not to be pushed to using a heavy due to the character balance.

So what kind of stats do you think the Bdasher will have? It's one of my favorite kart bodies.
You get pushed like that in every mk game as far as I'm aware
It requires using a heavy for a much better chance at winning (cause high speed and wtf bump mechanics that rival Double Dash's punches) and an insane amount of luck hoping either of the following:
- triple red shells don't come to the person behind you
- ricocheted green shells auto-target you
- you don't hit an invisible item
- AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YOU DON'T GET THE COIN ITEM
And that's just talking about how being in first place. Don't get me started on "I got a single mushroom while the person in front of me got a Golden Mushroom" or the dreaded false hits.
The balance is like a poor version of MK7's.
If blue falcon is anything to go by, mach 8 but with more acceleration lol.

Bumps in 7 tend to be relatively mild. Yeah, you get bumped... by like a kart width max. It's really easy to compensate for the bumping, too.
Nah...Heavy weights in 7 were heavy sure but, you weren't sent flying off the track or into a wall whenever you touched one.
