Haha that's awesome. I hope it gets better distribution in the US than F-Zero did.. it could be the type of game that lasts for a decade or so at a little movie theatre.

I'm excited.

I'd be real excited if Star Fox Assault had been F-Zero GX quality, but this is a different Namco team (I'm assuming) and a higher profile franchise so hopefully Namco can do the job this time.

Mario's driving a kart.
Mario's playing golf.
Mario's playing tennis.
Mario's having a party.
Mario's hosting Pac-Man VS.
Mario's playing DDR.
Mario's playing baseball.
Mario's playing basketball with Shaq.
Mario's driving a kart next to Pac-man.

It has come first circle!

Mario Party... Pac-Man Fever... could this mean Pac-Man in Mario Party 7?

Maybe Nintendo will lend Mario and company to Konami for a Winning Eleven game. Mario Soccer!

On a serious note..that unit is cool... I wonder how it plays? Any impressions yet?

What are those in the corner? It looks like a guy wearng a bike helment. GCN Memcard support and some camera involved?
It looks like it has pictures of each player with the some aspect of their character on the picture. Check out the pictures over the karts... one dude looks like he's wearing a Toad hat.

Is Namco working on more Nintendo games now than their own stuff? :lol

I almost think a Zelda Fighter or Nintendo Vs. Namco fighting game are not that far off.

No complaints from me though if this turns out good.

Well, now we know what one of Nintendo's big secret GC games at E3 is.

Looks like you're in a regular cart, which is good. I didn't like the Double Dash system.

Yeah now I see that :) Also a picture (PIP) of your own mug is in the bottom right hand corner :)

Mem Card slot ensures a home version, right?
I hope that's the case as this game looks wonderful.

Well yeah.

That and the fact that Mario Kart anything on a home console is an easy 3-5 million in sales ... that probably would sway them too, lol.

They really just pulled this outta no where though. It looks quite far along too.

That slot by the right leg looks kind of big for a memory card... probably for a buy-there card like the ones used for Tekken 5 and Initial D.

Whoa, wait a second.

On further inspection, what's that red area right about the arcade screen? It looks like it has a lense. Look at the screen then, and the other player's icons looks like they're photographs with mascots' hats. Like Player A wearing Toad hat to indicate he selected Toad...

Could this be what Nintendo/Miyamato was talking about with being able to 'be' in the game?? Nintendo GameCamera?

Wait ... camera ... what?

What's the camera for?

Nintendo unveiled a GameCube camera years ago (GameEye for Stage Debut) but never released it.

Hahahaha, one guy has Donkey Kong hair.

Video like this would be awesome for online play. Well, if you're playing with people you know. Or you can turn it off.

I bet it takes a pic right at the beginning like with that Namco FPS. The goofy top layer accessories like the helmet or toad hat probably wouldn't track your movements.

Now the real question is if this ties into the DS version at all.

Have Namco made anything comparable before?

I wasn't so bothered about AV making F-Zero, at least they had good racing experience. the same for Namco? I hope so.

Is this different from GCN Mario Kart aside from Pac Man?

Looks like a totally new game. Looks more like the N64 version than Double Dash actually.

Doesn't quite have that "pastel" look to it.

I think it's just a picture of the character behind the picture of them.

This looks cool, but here's hoping for a home edition. However, you never know...might be a Mario Kart DS connection?

Hmmm ... if the arcade cabinet has WiFi built into, wouldn't you be able to just take your DS to the arcade and download your scores/data from the arcade unit?

Or INTO the arcade unit, for that matter. This seems more and more likely to be DS when I think about it.

Mario Kart GC has two characters in a cart that you can choose.
This arcade version has one character a cart.

That's pretty different.

That's a pretty funny idea, having the face icons.

This could be one of the best arcade games ever if done properly.

I wonder if it'll have a Battle Mode (hopefully the home version will add this).

People are criticizing this? Good god... you all really WILL pounce on nintendo for anything.
