edit: oh, and Olympic Villages are hotbeds of sex. Spend ages training rigourously and then once every few years meet up in foreign countries in an isolated complex filled with lots of other fit, young people also looking for an outlet. I remember on a talk show some verteran olympiad was saying how the first thing the new, younger competitors would ask here was where to get condoms instead of tips on Olympic training.

Why does Kosmo keep posting this stuff after so many thread backfires? You'd think he'd learn something from all the people who take time to point out how wrong and misinformed he is.

I wonder if kosmo intentionally seeks out stories that make no sense or these are the only stories that make sense to him.

The AOC however claims it doesn't have to do with punishing the couple. They say it is just houses people this particular way. And the question really is: outside of this couple, are there any other heteresexual couples that are /aren't allowed to sleep together? If they're allowed, it is the photo shoot; if they aren't; the AOC thinks it is organizing a school trip where boys and girls need to be seperate.
 
Well, sidestepping all the man's claims about homosexuality and blah blah blah.. he should still be allowed to share a room with his wife during the games. All that business about doing rooms and organizing stuff.. it'd be easier to put them in a room together, and would likely save them money anyway.

I think it's got to a point where he knows it's a joke character and goes with it. Kind of like Docpan, but Docpan is actually funny.
 
People bang like crazy during the Olympics anyway. It's not like he's going to be prevented access to her.

Who the fuck are these people to punish someone for being in a picture by saying "we don't like that, therefore you're not allowed to stay with your wife/husband?"

Aren't all the rooms in the village singles? I could be wrong but an article I read a week or so ago when journalists stayed in the dorms seemed to imply that.

Edit: Found article it does say they are ALL singles. I mean...it could be wrong but if they are all singles then who gives an F?

I'm sure they could find a bigger bed somewhere in those dorms. I mean, if they tried to put me in a different room from my wife while I was there I'd be pissed. Not that it would stop us anyway.
 
Let's all ignore the issue here because of a comment. It is stupid that can't room together if gay couples are allowed to.

The article is very specific that they are all singles. They even mentioned that it may cause problems for athletes "extracurricular activities" along with the VERY thin walls.

I mean.....if you are an athlete and it bothers you that much go rent a hotel room or a house -.-

Fairly sure they can't either. Unless its like 2 single beds in the same room or being next door to one another.

I'd hope the AOC would have used that as a reason to defend themselves if it was so. But as there are also 3300 apartments in the Olympic village and not every athlete will be staying there, it is hard to say.

Well they're competing for their country with no compensation. I'd guess that hotels would be pretty expensive, and all booked up with the Olympics in town. Whatever, at least it's not me.

There's no sexual orientation discrimination going on here. The athlete's assertion that heterosexual couples are being discriminated against is false.
 
It's not a matter of hetero or homosexual, it's a matter of separate gender rooms.

Petition for gender mixed rooms but don't blame the gays.
