Missing the GOAT, aka X-Men 2: Clone Wars.
Missing:
- Spider-Man vs The Kingpin (Genesis/ Mega Drive) - I still think this is one of the best 16-bit Spider-Man games
- The Amazing Spider-Man vs The Kingpin (Sega CD/ Mega CD)
- X-Men - (Genesis / Mega Drive)
- X-Men 2 : The Clone Wars (Genesis/ Mega Drive)
- Spider-Man Web of Fire (32x) - This is not a great game, IMO.
Sega is completely absent from this collection, yet again. A common thread.
Also missing:
- The Incredible Hulk (Probe software) - SNES or Genesis/ MD
- X-Men Mutant Apocalypse (Capcom) - SNES
- Marvel Super Heroes - War of the Gems (Capcom) - SNES
- The Punisher (Capcom) - Preferably arcade, but there is also a Genesis/MD port
handheld games:
GameBoy:
- The Amazing Spider-Man (Rareware/ LJN)
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Bits Studio/ LJN)
- The Amazing Spider-Man 3 (Bits Studio/ LJN)
- The Punisher - The Ultimate Payback(Acclaim)
GameGear:
- X-Men (Sega)
- X-Men : GamesMaster's Legacy (Sega)
- X-Men : Mojo World (Sega)
But other than that, the two highlights of this collection are the Konami arcade port of X-Men (with online multiplayer) and the arcade version of Captan America and the Avengers. These two games alone are the pinnacle of weird Engrish dialogue.
Yeah Maximum Carnage is Ok... Separation Anxiety is not as good of a game, IMO. Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge is a 'no thanks' to me. Silver Surfer has an incredible soundtrack by the Geoff and Tim Follin, but it is also a mediocre game attracted to it. Though I guess, Arcade's Revenge also has an incredible Follin soundtrack as well.
