Marvel Studios’ Eternals | Official Teaser

The bad guys look generic as fuck, there's going to be some backstabbing "ruler not what he/she seems" type shit with the Eternals, I guarantee it.

Question: in the trailer, they were talking about why they couldn’t interfere, then it cut to this ominous shot of some big glowing thing with like 6 eyes. Is that just a deviant, or someone else? Is that the MCU version of the Watcher?

MAJOR SPOILERS:
It's Ikaris.

A Celestial.

For the new page.

This looks absolutely stunning.

I swear Marvel's marketing is on point. With the teaser people asked why they didn't help with Thanos and then the trailer answers the question. I have no doubt they had these 2 trailers organized ages ago.

I can't wait for the clickbait sites/YouTubers to run with the opening CONFIRMING THE SNAP CAUSED MUTANTS, when they are talking about the Deviants. Marvel is also trolling those people with this trailer too.

probably the worst produced MCU movie yet.

the Eternals have a grand concept but they couldn't be integrated into the Marvel comics universe properly. always existing on the periphery. Movie seems to have the same issues.

it is simple to have street level characters like Daredevil have heir own pocket in the universe. but the Eternals are cosmic level beings.

maybe it would have been better to introduce them slowly like the infinity gems. one or 2 characters in each new marvel movie.

Except when Sersi and Black Knight led the Avengers in the bomber jacket era, right?

Parody of actual AJUMP23
That one green guy looks like Martian man hunter.

I know I will watch this, but I don't know who any of these people are or why I should care. But this looks less interesting than Guardians of the Galaxy, which was the last group I took a chance on and it worked out.

I’m sure a lot will enjoy this, but I am completely cold on yet more cgi superhero world ending nonsense. Adored everything up to Endgame, but this just feels lifeless, repetitive and same old, same old.

The Celestials are responsible for creating the X-Gene in the comics, so...

I'm hoping they explain the X-Gene and how the Kree created the Inhumans in this film.
Looks like it definitely will explain that the Celestials created the universe, at least it looks like a Celestial is creating a galaxy.

The post credit scene:
Harry Styles is Starfox

Yep, looks like the perfect target audience for this movie.

Wow, much better trailer. Still not really sold on the movie though. Likely wont see it till on available on standard Disney Plus.

Much better trailer. Action scenes look very questionable though.

To be fair that's not on Chloe Zhao. Marvel has a Second Unit that does all of the action across every movie. I remember the internet getting all outraged a few years ago when a woman director commented that they didn't let her direct the action, when that's the case for all MCU movies.

It is kinda weird how they just take that out of the director's hands. It might help change things up more if the action scenes weren't being handled by the same people across the whole franchise.

Much better trailer, but they really need to stop going back to the "We need to find the others...." well again and again and again.
Guess that's the nature of superhero movies, but none have done it as well as MacGruber!

Well with this one the Eternals have been living on Earth blending in with humans for thousands of years. That's not the whole movie, they reunite pretty much within the first act.

Well it allows directors who aren't used to doing action to make a Marvel movie.

Apparently Marvel is going to give this a big Best Picture push due to Chloe Zhao, which is why it's never NOT been given a November release date. They want it out during awards season.

That would explain why final fight in Black Panther was so fucking awful. Coogler directed Creed for goods sake.

It's not always true, sounds like Destin Cretton worked with the stunt team on Shang Chi.

I'd be curious to know how they decide which directors do or don't get that control over their films then.

So anticlimactic and those creatures they're fighting are just boring. Not looking promising

That's not the main threat in the movie.

There's a Celestial in Earth that when awakened will destroy the planet. That's what they're trying to stop.

Looks more interesting than before, but not worth a cinema trip for me, its Disney ploos fodder.

Those of you in the know or using good guesswork , do you think it is a one and done for these characters as a stand alone movie or will they be weaved in and out future movies?

It's intended to be a new franchise like Avengers and Guardians. Sersi and Black Knight led the Avengers in the early 90s so they'll be big going forward.

Also,
The credit scenes give Black Knight his sword and introduce other Eternals characters like Starfox.

I read the spoiler about the post credits scene and for the longest time I thought Nintendo is teaming up with Marvel.
