Won't everyone be missing out on the Dlc characters till march? I think Capcom confirmed it won't be available to anyone for a month
 
We should do some GAF MVC2 sessions over the weekend.

Edit: yeah we all don't get characters will march.

Only benefit for me was getting the characters for a lot cheaper. I paid $65 with release date shipping. $5 extra is more value than what would of been charged on psn/xbla.

Funny enough, I had it the exact same way. Morrigan, Saki and Roll pretty much clicked for me in TvC. And this Morrigan is the same, but better? Excellent, I'll have to give her a spin, then.

Speaking of TvC... I wish Roll was in MvC3. I wanted to dump a giant bucket of water on Dormammu. Poor guy's head is on fire. If there's ever a Roll DLC, I'm so buying that.

Roll is the best character.

Honestly, she's the only character I can think of that would be a definite purchase as DLC, so long as she plays like TvC Roll.

What? Roll was a fun joke character, who could turn quite dangerous if you underestimated her. Plus her theme song was pretty catchy.

But for MvC3, I'm still on the Felicia train. I just wish there was some decent preview footage for Felicia. But no one seems to pay attention to her. One the other paw... Cats are more dangerous when you don't see them coming. I just learned Felicia apparently can stick to the wall, for instance. That could get fun. I totally see superjumping high up the wall and laughing at Sentinel. Then get hypered for my arrogance. Fun!
 
Would it kill devs to provide something entertaining to watch or do while the install happens? A flash game type of thing? Maybe the intro cinematic streamed off the disc? An introduction game basics? Something?

When I only have an hour to play, yeah, it bums me out.

Ok, it sped through 20-80% like, instantly. It finished in about 5 mins.

I would actually prefer Batsu if I were to take one TVC character.

Hearing about mandatory install makes me happy. That vanilla SFIV bullshit was nonsense.

I can't imagine them being more than $2.50 a piece but probably $5 for both will be the only way to get them. If they go $5 a character I imagine very low sales.

I think the Special Edition was just a bonus for fans not a cheaper way to get DLC characters.
