What's the consensus on the SE? Worth it? I have it preordered, considering changing to regular.

Heck, half the reason I bought the special edition was to avoid the horrible boxart of the standard. Plus, Amazon credit. The game is only 5 days away and I hadn't thought to look up what exactly the special edition includes...

Haha, understood. It is a confusing bunch of acronyms and abbreviations... thus the reason I normally all the Vampire series games as DS! (Which is still kinda confusing, ha)

I hope for this game's Morrigan to become my fav since the forgotten days of the first Darkstalkers!

Hah, same. Voucher + steelbook was all I needed, I know it has more but that's just a cherry on top.

Ah. I apologize for not getting to it sooner. I'm glad it's been fixed, though.

To the people hating on KFC, it's more reason for it to be called KFC over XFC amirite? Popeyes can be the random Deadpool/Dante/Zero team of characters that the reaaal casual will play eventually.

That's exactly why I'm getting the SE. I'm actually kind of regretting canceling my amazon pre-order for 360 in lieu of the PS3 version before I realized it was sold out now. Oh well Fry's on launch day it is if I can't find it sooner.

Yeah, worth it. The DLC characters will probably be $10 on their own, plus you get a not-total-shit cover and a free month of all the Marvel digital comics your poor eyes can handle (peep this thread for ideas on where to start).

WRT this fried feud, Mrs. Winner's has the best biscuits. Discuss. I'll stand with Team Popeye's on the chicken tip, though.

Also, I had the fried chicken discussion with a colleague (a large black man from the south) today. You don't have to be black to appreciate fried chicken. I love it it. Fried chicken is delicious.

Also Dante. Dante x10000000000000. I wouldn't be shocked at Zero (because of being BA in TvC) and Wolvie (cause he's fucking Wolverine) being in there too.

You dont get the $10 credit with the Collectors Edition. Amazon stated that on the page. It was only for the Standard Edition.

It's a retail copy. It was mentioned in this thread a few days ago that they also shipped out SSF4 the Thursday before release date, so I figured I'd give them a shot and pre-ordered. Their overnight shipping price is HIGH ($30!), but for this game I was willing to pay it.

Seems crazy that Capcom's own official store has no problem breaking their own release dates.

Yes, but I'd use the term "absorb" loosely since she still loses life. I'm interested to see how Viper's FA and Haggar's lariat play out since they are both moves that effectively make you sacrifice life for a situational advantage.
 
C. Viper looks absolutely fucking GODLIKE on this stream. Those burning kick cancels, and stringing those specials, GOD DAMN.
