It's really like re-learning a brand new series for me with MvC3 right now- it's like I even have to get rid of SFIV-style playing because when I see crouching M > crouching H in the Mission Mode, I'm it in SFIV plink timing forgetting that I can just do it immediately after.

But man I';m enjoying it, I really need to put the work in though since I'm not satisfied where I'm at right now.

And oh yes, I forgot to confirm this hours ago, but yes, you CAN turn the old sound effects from the older builds back on right away in the sound menu.

Man I looooooove She-Hulk right now.
 
I want to play Dante. Every scrub and his brother online will be playing Dante. I still want to play Dante.

Team Resident Evil has to happen also, but not until Jill is out.
 
"Skrull has some really interesting tools with a good horizontal assist it seems. He can do weird traps with his H (hold) and kara cancels. All theory though, I'll back this up when I play people tonight."


What do you think about Skrull with Hyper Armor Hsien-Ko pendulum assist?

Yea. Only reason I pre ordered the SE off capcom store was because it said ships on the 10th. I even paid 42 bucks for overnight shipping. Am let down yet again.

Kitty's got claws. That's a 100% combo on what, half the cast? Sure, it's using 3 bars of Hyper (the combo itself gains 1), but it's still pretty good.

God this game is crazy fast. It's like the Bayonetta of fighting games.

I'm playing SSFIV (and sucking at it) and it feels like molasses compared to this.

No idea, haven't messed with it at all. Right now what it looks like is depending on the matchup, he can control the space right in front of him (Doom rocks/Sentinel Force) and then hold. If they jump, reaction AA grab, if they dont, let go, let the rest of the assist finish and then go for a mixup. If they try anything funny (a reversal) he can do the fall move to avoid contact, or to beat supers that might hit him (they will still hit his assist I'm sure), the same thing should work with his level 3. He can also get fancy and if they respect the hold, he can just do a command grab.

That's looking like my day 1 strategy so far, gotta test vs people. It seems to bank on having a good assist that covers a lot of ground and has a lot of blockstun most importantly. It might lose to good projectile/trap characters but the dive attack might be his saving grace here.
 
So because no one helped with a stream (until recently) I have been watching this guy (http://www.justin.tv/tbtgang) play training mode against what I assume is a hard computer. I feel bad, because he's just learning and it's basically him getting his ass beat by Deadpool, Spiderman, and Dante over and over.

I had never seen Deadpool's grab until just now. I've seen it 20+ times. I laugh EACH.TIME.HE.DOES.IT. I find something hilarious about him stabbing his sword through X-23's feet, and then execution shooting her in the head. I don't know why, but it's funny each time.

I think the shipping is so high because its Hawaii. If i dont pick overnight, like i didnt with dead rising 2, it takes 3-4 weeks to get here by boat.
 
Does X-Factor level up as you lose characters?

Meaning, if I activate XF with 2 characters and my current character dies, does my XF strength level up when my last character gets tagged in?
