Do you guys believe that the game can get patched in order to better balance it ?

It would be pretty sad if the perfect team was found and there were no way to remedy the situation...

Of course it can be patched, but it's way too early for such nonsense.

I'd rather face lvl3 Xfactor Sent than MVC2 Sent.

Me ending up against a lvl 3 Sent is MY fault. Fighting against MVC2 sent with an AAA and not having the right characters to deal with it was not my fault. You basically get chipped out with no way of coming back. Just about every character can kill Sent just as fast as he can kill you, lvl 3 xfactors go both ways. From what I've seen a lot of top players are probably upset that they can be bested by less experienced players, especially after 10 years of practicing. MVC3 isn't MVC2, you don't lose the match at the character select screen anymore it's all the way to the last hit baby!
Different beasts. Lvl3 X-Factor Sentinel is a damage BEAST. Just destroys you with a few hits but can't combo very far. A lot of these guys are missing that OTG Rocket Punch. MvC2 Sentinel gets a combo going and it's completely over if there is enough meter.

I'd rather just not face Sentinel IMO.

xfc sent is no good. Better try to catch him when he comes out to assist and lame his ass out with dhc-> into xfc -> hc

190 hits... 190 hits.

You know, Arthur is like a selectable boss edition of I-No from Guilty gear. Projectiles and you can't really avoid or dodge them.

It really is like a bullethell.
The majority of people that played Josh earlier had no idea that their characters could teleport.

Day 1 zoning is money. Always has been.

How is it not your fault when you fail to counterpick? If you see someone picking a character suited to zoning and you pick a grappler with no way to get in, the go ahead and prepare yourself for an uphill battle. Matchups are matchups and they'll continue to be matchups until there are fighting games with only 1 character.

The problem with xfactor is that its comeback mechanic thats too strong for its own good.

MVC2 completely shuts down most of your options with his mobility, armor and damage output. It's really just damage output in MVC3, and every other character has that going for them in lvl3.

Well, for however brief it might remain, I managed to get Rank 1 on the leaderboards.
Final score, 155 wins 12 losses.

More like people are tired of seeing Josh trample people who don't know how to deal with zoning...

The thing is that no one wants to hear about Sent, and Storm dominating for another game.

D&D FTW

Matches are the saviours, not the characters. If I saw this same level of insanity with Iron Man/Tron/Cap, my hype would be on a hundred, thousand, trillion.

Also, I didn't mention it before but that Deadpool grab is dope as hell.

:lol

Pages and pages of whining and everyone is glued to the stream now that Josh isn't playing a scrub. Can't wait for EVO.
