Wow this is going to take some serious adjustment.

Only person i can wield with any sort of reasonable chance right now is haggar.

Buttons are throwing me off.

Good thing it's not in Ohio, or else it would be stuck there forever.
A TV I ordered through amazon got stuck in Ohio for three weeks once.

This thread didn't reach 10,000 posts before the game came out, preorder canceled.
I'm so disappointed that I cancelled all of my friend's preorders. I'm not quite pissed enough to cancel my own though.

Finally found a use for that keylogger!

I have Mahvel!

Shoutouts to shaowebb, who was at the SAME FUCKING WAL-MART. Marvel-GAF in Huntington, WV? It's more likely than you think...

watching fools deal with phoenix on the option select stream is hilarious. Better snap her in early as hell.

Assists get wrecked in this game. Haggar's invincible spin assist is godlike though.

Everyone feels much heavier. I dare say this actually feels like a fighting game in a way MvC2 didn't where everyone was just paper weight.

I think it feels just right, this shit is amazing.

Good god I wish I could make up my mind on picking a team and learning it, I think def Dante is in there as my main though.

He is very easy to play but to master all his shit will take some time for the situations.

GGs tonight PXG, my brother wanted to play a couple games there in the middle and it was his first time. He doesn't understand the inputs yet.

Finding someone random to play online, is the worst. When you actually get a match it's cool, but the search process is SF4 all over again. BB was way better than this, in that regard...

My GameStop tourney was nice tonight. We all had fun and no one stank up the joint.

Watching this Dark Phoenix video from Option Select. All I can say is "Holy fuck..."

Capcom said 99% chance of getting the game on release date.
My copy left Indiana on the 14th, I live in california 7 states away :(

Don't worry, level 3 x-factor shipping is overpowered. It'll make it in no time.

after 4 hrs of hit or miss timings, failed combos, and hand cramps... I'm getting a fightpad or arcade stick. I just can't get in 'sync' with this game, I have my work cut out for me...

First, learn to stop smashing buttons frantically! :|

I'm so excited only 6 and a half more hours till I pick it up, I am glad I am working tonight and will get to play it tomorrow.

I've been watching streams for the game for days now and I still don't have a team picked out.

I love MVC2 and I think I will love MVC3 just as much especially since it's so crazy.

This game doesn't feel right playing on a pad. The control configuration screams arcade stick.
How so? You using a DS3 or 360 pad? I've been playing MvC2 on stick for a while but back on DC or PS2 it felt alright. Assigning assists to left triggers and using the face buttons with your palm open is ok, unless you're not used to it.

PS3 pad. I'm not super sure yet it just doesn't feel right. I've only been playing the game for an hour though so I'm not accustomed to it yet.

I think the layout is fine on a Dualshock, but that d-pad would give me blisters in Mahvel for sure.

I might be late, but has this been posted yet?

I don't know if I understand it well, First DLC is a pack with Shadow Mode, alternate costumes (6 characters) and Jill/shuma, all for 400 points?.

Jill & Shuma's release date has not been announced yet. The way the Capcom-Unity post words it, the costumes and Shadow Mode seem to be separate DLC. (I thought I read before that Shadow Mode was free, but I'm not sure about that.)

All the costumes are pretty sweet so far, though I would have preferred Warrior Chris and Ryu's first SFIV alt.
