Any plans to update the game with spectator and replay support? So weird that this wasn't included in the game as SSF4 had it and you'd think Capcom would progressively improve their online with each successive fighting game release.

Of the regular game?? My eb-games at Les Aile in downtown had like 40 copies at lunch time. Only CE on preorders though, thankfully of which I got :)
 
You know, I've always pre-ordered and purchased my games in store, ever since I can remember, and I've NEVER had a single problem. Just saying.

If you live in the East Bumblefuck, don't drive or live a really busy life, I can understand not running to a store to buy a game. If not, git yo ass to tha sto and git yo self a copy. Damn.
 
I feel bad for all of you guys with horrible UPS experiences.

They're the only guys who get my packages to me on time and they're willing to ship something to me days ahead of schedule every once in a while. There is nothing worse than USPS to me though. They tend to hold my packages for days in the middle of Arizona or some shit instead of shipping it quickly. Fedex ain't that bad either.

horrible experience with USPS.
 
Really SolarPowered? USPS Priority is the shit. 2-3 days coast-to-coast.

UPS gets my stuff here but the delivery dude doesn't run like to run to my area until like 6-7PM (Mailman runs anywhere from Noon-5PM).

Fedex surprisingly shows up in the morning.

I've never had to preorder a game to get it launch day. The only time I have ever bothered to preorder was to insure I can get ahold of a collectors edition or something.

Normally I'm down with this but when you're getting the CE for 2 bucks more than the standard edition, it's hard to say no. A week from now, this little wait won't matter but right now I'm feeling really impatient.
 
Played a handful of matches at lunch. Sooooo good. I'm terrible, but I'm definitely going to play as Amaterasu as one of my characters. She's awesome.

Eighting, the developers behind TvC (presumably, still not entirely sure) worked on this game. Dimps did SSFIV. Devs don't necessarily communicate with each other, when to comes to what features they have in their games. However, you can blame Capcom for not setting a higher standard and making sure their products are more consistent. Hopefully they realize what we want, and have the time and money to add things like spectator mode, endless battle and replays.

It may seem like crap shoot, but write them. Tell them what you want in the game. Surely if they get a enough people asking for it, they'll consider adding more stuff to the game. Then again, chances are, they already had all future add-ons/ DLC strategically planned out and scheduled way before the game even went gold. But it's still worth a try.

I think it was a casualty of deadlines, but they have stated they're looking into spectating.

She really is. I'm very surprised how much I've enjoyed using her online. My team right now is She-Hulk, X-23, and Ammy. Soooo good.
 
Played a few games of ranked on XBL, and lag is horrible. I can't believe there's no option to specify a minimum number of bars. Are you f'ing serious?

Will be staying offline for this one. Sad when Arcana Heart 3 has better netplay in the USA than this.

Sorry meant the CE. I got in there right as it opened and guy told me the guy a head of me got the last one, even though I saw no one else in the store.

MvC3 was done in-house, not by eighting.
 
ups always gets to my house late. there was literally one time it got here at 1pm. all other times, 7ish. im used to it. i have no prob waiting to save me some moneyz. plus, i need to clean up around here. was planning to get some people over here tomorrow, but damn im feeling real lazy right now

No clue if it's useful or not, but her elemental storm hyper combo looks totally incredible, even in youtube form. I'm looking forward to seeing it on the HD big screen as soon as I get the game in.

Which means: How many people will it take to do the coding, UI and testing. How much will it cost and how long will it take. Or one of those. "Yeah sure....we'll be right on it....no worries..................."

The first time I went to take the game out, I got a "shock" when I touched the open drive button and the XBOX shut off.

Thankfully everything is okay, sorry to you guys who are having trouble.

Yeah, I don't know why. It's great if I want my small packages on time(books, videogames, etc.), but anything else is a longer wait than UPS or fedex. I guess I'm just the odd man out on this one.

Also, all of you need to wish me luck on my physics exam today. I'm going to need it.

So right now Amazon shows the SE in stock for 360.

I could order one and pay 3 cents more than what I paid for on the Capcom store and have it next day air. Instead I have no idea when I'll be getting it from the Capcom store.

Again fuck you Capcom store!

just walked into target picked up the special edition.. so goooooooooood, i feel like a pro when im doing those tag team in air combos...

anyone else trying to redeem the dlc character codes having problems with the site?

DLC isnt available til March 15th, or March 1st. It isnt really clear atm.

PS3 Version here.

Just turn on Player Match or Ranked Match fight requests on while you play Arcade Mode. Just like Street Fighter 4, you should get a match in a few seconds. I've been doing this for the past two hours, and I never have to wait more than 10 seconds to get challenged. Haven't even tried the matchmaking yet...

Just got mine from the UPS man about an hour ago. Now I have to wait for the work day to be over to go home and play this. I just know the rest of this day will drag now.....
