I should be getting mine today. It's been in NJ since yesterday so if I did my math correctly, it should get to me soon. But yeah, this man speaks the truth. NEVER order from the capcom store even if they promise to show you the naked breasts of the girl you may/may not have feelings for right now.

Fake Edit: I despise you, bounchfx. =(
I'm with the OP. The Capcom store can go to hell. Here's my Marvel vs. Capcom 3 shipping history (bear in mind, I live 40 miles East of Chicago in Indiana and 200 miles north of Indianapolis):

Minnesota to Indianapolis to suburb of Chicago and then back into Indiana for delivery? Is this some kind of a sick joke?

X-23 is perfect for button mashing, a few matches i was just mashing around and did some pretty good combos. I thought "Wait am i on simple mode?" ...but i was not.

The game is balanced, every character now has stupidly strong stuff? What you expected to get hit by like 3 combos and live? The vs series has NEVER EVER been like that
Did I say that? Pretty sure I didn't... and I've played the series at high level since XSF which was basically one hit wins / losses.

don't let me get started on this. They suck. I would blame usps but I have sent a lot of stuff usps and never had any problems so I don't know what the hell they are doing.

I think if you have one bar, you can break out of an air combo. I did it with Arthur...and I think it was just pressing LMH at the same time. Couldnt have been an X-Factor since I was still able to use it at near the end of the match right?

Oh and play in arcade mode with fight request on. Seems like thats the most consistent way to fight online atm.

No. You cannot break out combos in mid air. You can break out of air exchange, but you have a 33% chance of doing so.

I like how they didn't even ship the game until release day even though I pre-ordered 3 weeks early, and now the game has been in limbo since wednesday.

Woo! Mahvel get!

This game is even more confusing when you actually play it. I hit the wrong buttons, mess up the motion and just stare at the pretty lights. I love the first few hours with a new fighting game, so stupidly fun.

However, I can say that Felicia lives up to what I hoped she'd be. Damn she's fast. The you hit X-Factor and that cat's gone. Just try to track her with your eyes, I dare you. Still haven't gone online, I need to shake off the SSFIV muscle memory first. L+S isn't throw, and S, A1, and A2 aren't kicks. It also seems I've been relying on the DP shortcuts more than I thought. I got a terrible execution of that again. Guess I need to relearn that motion, too. Still, as I said, this is the fun part. The first 3-5 hours of a new fighting game. The time where I have no idea what I'm doing, and even if I did, I wouldn't be able to pull it off. I should probably go train a little more...

Except for nuking Galactus. I thought he was supposed to be worse. Near unbeatable on Easy, or whatever. He's just a Master Hand wannabe with a much bigger hitbox. A little disappointed, if he didn't look so awesome. Big G can pull off silly purple hat well.

I'm also taking a liking to Zero now. I wonder if him and Felicia have good synergy? His projectile assist flies about the same speed as Felicia dashes. Useful, perhaps.

Dear Japanese Publishers/Developers,

Please start outsourcing online features, UI/menus, and general usability elements to western developers and designers who will at least pretend to give a shit.

Thanks.

Do the framerate hiccups that occur in the PS3 version happen in the 360 version too?

There are no framedrops on 360 during gameplay.

Its the MT Framework, unfortunatley, all MT Framework games run better on 360 than PS3.

So how do I become better at this :D? I'm just spamming buttons like a madman, well not that much spamming but still.

I think I need to pick 3 fighters and atleast memorize their command list for starters.

Sentinel level 3 x-factor is just ridonkulous

Haha so true. I generally try to not use it, and use Sentinel for assists and getting the combo's in but later change to hulk and wesker. Wesker and Hulk are far more valuable to me then Sent.

I think this game should be seriously considered for some kind of end of the year Best Graphics award. The detail in every model is fucking astounding, the stages look so cool, and the animations/effects are incredible.

I haven't come across a single Sentinel yet! :D

However Ranked Matches are barely working for me :/ I connect maybe 1 out of 10 times.

Yeah Ranked is completely messed up. The most effective way to get into a Ranked match right now is to just play Arcade with Fight Request set to Ranked. Will have a working Ranked match before the first fight is over.

Same boat as me, and it's sinking.

I figured DS2 would keep me occupied, but I'm just about done with it.

Well 5 games online, and not a win. Got absolutely demolished in my last 2 games...one guy combo'd my starting Tron to like 10% health before I hit the ground.

I would play more, but I'd say I get Failed To Join Game 90% of the time.

turn fight request on in the arcade mode options before you start arcade mode. You will find a match in 15 seconds tops.

I wish the damage was set to low and the timer lasted 50% longer, but then tournaments would take forever.

Not because I think the damage is broken, but because I think there's gonna be a lot of cool tricks people won't really get to see the way it is now.

Well games are only 1 round and the timer is still 99 secs, ssf4 can last up to 3 rounds and each at 99 sec, wouldn't of been much of a stretch to put the timer at 150 for 3 characters on the screen... its not like mvc3 has rounds anyway.
