Marvel vs. Capcom 4 not in development

Pretty sure there aren't any new fighting games in development after the blunder that was SFV.

Pretty sure SFV is the last fighting game we're getting from capcom

We'll probably see a (U)MvC3 remaster before too long. It's in line with Capcom's business model and they're quickly running out of last gen games to remaster (that people care about), and Marvel seems to be open to the idea.

Quelle surprise. Isn't capcom still broke too?

No. They never were.

No. They never were.
Broke, as in they can't afford to invest in a new big budget game right now.

Old tweets are old.

MarlinPie said the game was in development and that it'd be revealed soon before quickly deleting the tweet. A few other players have basically choose not to answer when asked about it. The game is being made, guys. Wait for Capcom Cup.

I wouldn't trust MarlinPie as far as I could throw him.

That's why I said to wait for Capcom Cup, Neo. These rumors didn't just spring out of thin air.

Lol, Champ says a lot of crap. I'm pretty sure he was the only one saying that, anyway.

I will *always* have hope for UMVC3 remaster or MVC4, no matter how bad the odds are. As Justin Wong says, "never give up!"

Expecting anything other than SFV Season 2 news at the Capcom Cup is a sure-fire way to set yourself up for disappointment. It's better to keep expectations low & be surprised than to expect a lot & be disappointed later.

Yup i agree regarding the Capcom Cup, it's probably coming but not that soon.

Understandable. At the very least, we can agree that this Eventhubs post tells us absolutely nothing relevant with these outdated tweets.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom 2 here we come!

YES COME ON TVC2!

:(

Do Tatsunoko again wide release in the West in all platforms including PC

Watch the money come in while smoking a cigar.

Thank me later Capcom

This would make me so happy, if it did.

Especially with the likes of the newer Tatsunoko stuff that's emerged since and will be coming out.

I'm ok with this.

TVC2 or Nintendo VS Capcom would be a fine replacement though..

Seeing all this on page 1 fills me with so much joy.

TVC2 is my DREAM. Well above Marvel at this point. The more I play it the more I love it and wish it had been around for as many years as marvel got at tourney. From Polymar's command dodge and hi/low/grab cancels from razor kick, to permanent hyper armored Kaijin no Soki states that generate meter, to ricochet projectiles that get faster with Yatterman 2, To Roll being able to knock projectiles back with her broom swings...this game was incredible.

Baroque over X-factor any day. TVC2 is my dream. At one point it was revealed that they had intended Phoenix Wright and Mute King for the game. Considering Tatsunoko had that intended and still had stuff like Samurai Pizza Cats, Speed Racer ,and even more Time Bokan stuff to draw from I am certain the well hasn't run dry on unique and fun character additions. Plus the Capcom side was pretty much allowed to be pretty well whoever the staff wanted to add. Capcom gave that title freedom and it really shown because of it.

...

Roll being able to permanently increase her damage by cleaning up her puddles was my favourite detail. I know a lot of people hate giants, but I feel like they were surprisingly well balanced, and there are quite a few that I think would be fun to play as. Rathalos and Blodia come to mind! Perhaps there's some way to tweak them so they're still viable, not overpowered, and yet don't turn things into projectile spam.

I love the other potential characters that Niitsuma listed as well. Especially Tekkaman Evil, Braiking Boss, Date Masamune, Leon, Zero-Gouki, and Rouge. One of my favourite things about the Versus series is how it made me a fan of characters I wasn't familiar with previously, like Captain Commando and Jin Saotome. MvC3's roster felt a little too safe to me on the Capcom side, although UMvC3 was much better.

TvC's one of my all-time favourite fighting games. The single player could definitely be more substantial, but aside from that, but aside from that, all I really want is more.

Capcom vs Toei would be amazing. Goku and Sailor Moon!

You dream too small my friend...KAMEN RIDER AND SUPER SENTAI IN A TAG GAME FIGHTER BY CAPCOM!

That is the true final dream of Capcom vs Toei prayers. God I can already imagine a cover with Ryu and Kamen Rider Ichigo staring each other down...Big One vs Viewtiful Joe...Ruby Heart vs Gokaiger Red...Kamen Rider Decade vs anyone.

not while TAC's and X Factor exists.

Aerial Raves and Baroque were superior anyhow.
TVC2...please lord let it happen at some point. At least a TVC:uas HD remake with decent online on other consoles/pc or something!
