Was SFV worse than UMVC3 or something?

Not even close. UMVC3's netcode was horrendous.
Which makes RyanLV's win all the more impressive. He specifically used online as a training tool.
SFV's netcode has the potential to be legitimately good. They should just copy NetherRealm's Injustice 2 netcode. It's the best out there.
sf5 netcode?
i'm gonna alt tab my way to capcom cup and nobody can stop me!!
What are you talking about it, it is objectively awful. SF4 had delay based netcode and did not run as bad as MvC3's.Which means it wasn't horrendous.
MVC3 net code is good with the right people. Horrible with the wrong ones.
I don't want Capcom to fail, but I think they go about things the wrong way. Their business practices are ass backwards. They really need to change and give the fans what we want instead of just what they think we should want (functions😒This is just a case of Capcpom not actually listening that there are issues if you're playing SFV outside of Japan and not wanting to put money on something that they can't advertise or sell on TV man FUCK THIS COMPANY.
It's a reference to the fucked-up spelling of the 3DS RE Revelations box, I think.I don't want Capcom to fail, but I think they go about things the wrong way. When that Capcom dude tweeted to Arturo, "what's your agenda?" wtf at the disconnect between them and the FGC.
Why do some of you use this, "Capcpom" that's a joke?

In terms of the functions thing, that was Capcom doing a horrible job of dodging the question. The Marvel side is out of their control.
Yes, the company Capcpom is ajoke nowadays.very sad
Ah, I see. Thanks.no that's where "Revelaitons" is from. Capcpom is from a Steel Battalion trailer.
it's the company that keeps on giving.

UMvC3 netcode works very well on Steam, just wish more people played. Ghost town
Playing it on PS4 is a nightmare, even my best matches have too much input delay, like I think I enjoyed it more on PS3. I don't get it.
This is probably gonna be my C-Tier villain origin story.wait, your name isn't loosebruce?
This is probably gonna be my C-Tier villain origin story.
Oh it isn't lucebruce? I've been reading it wrong this whole time. I'm sorry man
Loochayboose it is.
Leave LunchBrunch alone, bro.
luce is haram, so keep calling him bruce so he can be halal again one day.
you'll always be lucas bruce wayne to me
I've never called you Bruce lol.
Which means it wasn't horrendous.

Damn you all. I'll use my power of shitposting to take you ALL DOWN.
thank god for 14 spotsTool assisted will.

I'd love to get an objective analysis of which has the better netcode:
Killer Instinct
Skullgirls
Injustice 2
Those are the top 3, right?
Not necessary. For certain people, it was horrendous. I never had any problem with my ends with the netcode for UMVC3.
It's weird that people think their experiences would be just same as everyone which is remotely not true.
I never said my experiences spoke for everyone anywhere. Outside of the CFN being down, I've had a much more smoother experience than most people on SFV. Does this change the fact that people are quick to say SFV's netcode sucks balls? No. I also won't use my own experience to invalidate what others said, either.
UMVC3's netcode ranged from okay to pretty bad last gen. The 360 had the most consistent netcode. It was pretty awful in the PS4/XB1/PC release. Countless reviews don't lie. My own experience is enough for me to conform to that opinion.

UMVC3's netcode was okay if both people were on good connections and wired but it was almost unplayable if you play a bad connection. That quicksand feeling was very prevalent on a bad connection.
Yeah, pretty much. Hilariously enough, I know some people purposely use WIFI to trying to cause the lags, and use heavy or tank character to capitalize on the lags. (Im aware that it don't work very well)
That's why I found player mode more tolerance because you can find players with better connection so we could simply forget all about bad net codes.
How does people being assholes and playing on Wi-Fi somehow make the wjstiw what the fuck is this post. Not Injustice 2. All those fucking wifi warriors.

I use heavy or tank characters because Im shit tho

So you haven't actually judged the quality of the netcode in a stable match so how are you disqualifying it?I never called anyone an asshole for being on wifi. Just that there's so many of them
The mere fact that the game tells you whether or not your opponent is on Wi-Fi left every other game behind.Eh? I thought Injustice netcode made WIFI more tolerance than Capcom could've.

Could get a wireline adapter, that's what I did at my previous place.Yeah, that was pretty awesome but I understand some people can't have wired for their consoles because of their placement in the house or it costs money to set up one as well. For example, my friend got his own house and he can't afford the install to put the cable cords in his game room so he had to play with WIFI. I played Injustice 2 with him and I didn't really feel like he use WIFI with those weird hiccups like I would experience with Capcom games and Smash Bros.
Capcom games and Smash Bros would run much better if people have wired on both ends, from my experiences.
I do not know what you are talking about with invalidate comment since I already acknowledged that it's the issues for certain players. I was simply pointing it out that not everyone have horrendous experiences with the net code. My comment was simply referring to some people who think EVERYONE actually have issues with the netcode so I want to dispel those silly thoughts.
God I wish you were still banned.I play I2. Wifi matches are considerably worse and too prevalent for my liking. Wish I could reject them in ranked.
Every fighting game... no. EVERY ONLINE GAME EVER works better if you're on a stable wired connection.Yeah, that was pretty awesome but I understand some people can't have wired for their consoles because of their placement in the house or it costs money to set up one as well. Honestly it's just telling me why the match is unstable. Which is a nice feature.
