Marvel's Spider-man 2 |OT| - The 19" inches of Venom you're Kraven for

This is on a good sale here were i live. I hear people say its woke, is that true, how woke? What is woke in the game? I loved the first one, but i really dont like some of the woke shit around the world, and absolutely will not have it thrown in my face when gaming. So please enlighten me.

Basically I'd say not too bad. I straddle the line between right and left wing. There is clearly some "wokeness" but overall I think you can still enjoy the game. My biggest gripes with the game was the dumbing down of stuff. I loved the suit powers from Spider-man 1 yet those are basically gone. and a misson or two were like why the fuck would I wanna play this person in a spider-man game. There was some dialog that should have just been neon signs going hey hey look at us. Still. All that ssaid if you loved Spider-man 1, liked the off shoot game with Miles, and can just realize what you're getting into You'll like the game.

Just one guys opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I'm about halfway through this game and it's been a major disappointment so far. It's worse than SM1 and Miles Morales in nearly every way.

Wingsuit is fun though.

Finished this.

This game was not good. No other way to put it. Like, in the same tier as Suicide Squad for me.

Oh well, on to the next one.

What made it bad?

Story was garbage, visuals were super inconsistent, lots of bugs, actual dialogue was crap (I've heard it described as they act as if they're talking in front of their direct supervisor at all times, which is very accurate), MJ gameplay sessions were even more ridiculous and pointless than the first game, emotional beats didn't land, combat was less fun/fluid... I could go on and on.

Wingsuit was really cool. Visuals could be pretty solid at times. That's about the extent of my praise of the game.

Loved it and I'm sad it's over :(

The traversal (minus the trash bike rides lol) and combat in the Sony Spider-Man games are absolutely phenomenal. The feeling of swinging through the city as Spider-Man is unmatched

There's something incredibly satisfying about launching enemies into the air and webbing them to the walls, or using the environment to your advantage to take down foes in creative ways
