Police found dozens of bodies being stored in unrefrigerated trucks outside a Brooklyn funeral home and lying on the facility's floor Wednesday, law enforcement sources told The Post.

Between 40 and 60 bodies were discovered either stacked up in U-Haul box trucks outside Andrew Cleckley Funeral Services in Flatlands or on the building's floor, after neighbors reported a foul odor around the property, sources said.

The corpses were stacked on top of each other in the trucks. Fluid leaking from inside created a terrible smell and caused neighboring store owners to call the police, according to sources.

The funeral home told officers that the bodies were supposed to be going to a crematorium but its staff didn't come to pick them up, sources told The Post.

One CA county that has no cases wanted to reopen businesses and King Newsom just said in his briefing they can't and have to abide by his edict.

He's also shitting on the counties who said he shouldn't close the beaches.

He's always had a problem with HB since they sued his ass for the sanctuary city shit. He'll never let that go.

Yea well this is what got Gray Davis recalled. When there were fires in SD, he refused to send fire fighters to the areas that didn't vote for him. Newsom is done.

Here's some graphs for the day. We are definitely on the downward side of a plateau. Lets start today by looking at two graphs that show the real daily growth of new cases.

Real Daily Growth in the US (Overall and over the past month)

These two graphs show a clear plateau in new cases. I'm not quite sure what is causing the ups and downs. The period of the apparent cycle (measuring from low point to low point) ranges from 6-9 days. It may have to do with more limited testing over weekends or something else that I haven't thought of. Either way, the green trendline over the past month clearly shows a downward trajectory for new cases even if they have been fluctuating a fair bit for whatever reason. Seeing a plateau like this is great considering that we have seen a pretty significant ramping up of testing over this time frame.

Percentage Growth in the US

Looking at percentage growth over the past two months paints an encouraging picture. Despite a significant increase in testing, the percentage increase for growth has decreased significantly. It is sitting around 2.8% growth when averaged over the past 5 days. This yields a doubling time of 25 days. This is a significant improvement.

Active Cases

When looking at active cases we see a few encouraging signs. First, recoveries are far outpacing deaths. This is great new on its own, but its even better when we keep in mind that it takes a lot longer to recover. It seems that most deaths take place at around the 2 week mark while full recoveries can take up to a month or more. It also seems that recoveries have a seven day pattern, themselves. My best guess is that patients are not released as often on weekends. Also, recoveries are increasing faster than new cases. The curve for recoveries is bending upward, while the curve on active cases is slightly bending downward.

Overall, the numbers paint an encouraging picture. Hopefully, with several states slowly beginning to reopen over the next few weeks, we will see these trends continue to move in a good direction.

I got a sem-relateds topic. I am on 1099 and I am told I should also apply for the unemployment so they got my data in the system so they can start send out the federal 1099 fund in May. On IDES what on earth am I suppose to put down for employer name since i am on 1099 misc/self employment? Do I just put down self employment? Also the world work history thing.

Dont forget these tests must all be free of course.

Last I heard these tests can range from 30-150$ a pop. So 600 Million to 3 Trillion dollars a day on testing.

Got my stimulus the other day. Wanting to buy a Switch but yeah....

So went to Smith's today and saw a huge line outside Bank of America wrapped around building.

Wtf is going on? Are these people without debit or credit cards putting their Corona Bux into the bank or withdrawing? I've never seen so many people in line at a bank.

What significant increase in testing? It's been about constant for a month according to

Sheriffs are turning on King Newsom:
A message from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Ian Parkinson. "I was made aware that the Governor intended to close all beaches in California. He has announced closing only Orange County beaches.
I am not in favor of our beaches being closed and do not plan to make criminals out of people that need to walk, run or enjoy the beach for their mental health. These are hard times and we need to self-police ourselves and follow safety practices like social distancing and other methods.
We have released thousands from jail and prisons, against law enforcement recommendations. We are faced with protecting our citizens from criminals and will continue to do that."

Newscom is purely flexing at this point.

California did a good job early on with the virus. Now it's time to let go some of that draconian power but he can't do it:

the French foreign office has already summoned the Chinese embassador to stop doing shit like, but it looks like they are back at it

Pretty fucked up, but I can't really say we are setting the best example ourselves

I got my first unemployment deposit. Bastards only back paid me from the time the application was approved 3 weeks ago instead of the 6 weeks i have been unemployed. My first two applications were stuck in limbo so i just kept applying and one finally stuck but I'm a bit confused as to why i didn't get benefits for the first 3 weeks. oh well, i know I'm in better shape than a lot of people and these UI deposits are no joke right now so Im just going to chill for now and hopefully i can call the state Dept of Labor someday in the distant future, they sure as hell aren't answering the phone any time soon.

Well at least i can grab Streets of Rage now

I met my first person who believes Covid is just a hoax. He is also a Holocaust denier too.

O the places you'll go, the people you'll meet.
