I think people with more realistic looking people in a realistic looking game look better than weird puffy inflated people. Default advertized Sara looks like an exaggerated cartoon. Her lips aren't just big, they are massive, her cheeks, her features, everything is so inflated and exaggerated. Her head looks 3 times too large for her body...

Oh man, I remade my Pathfinder and I'm SUPER happy. More prominent cheekbones averted the 'weird slope' issue I was having and I'm super glad how he looks. The cheekbones are slightly 'sunken' but I think it works and it avoids the weird shiny lighting issue I see so often.

Man, I dunno, but I did do the export function. That means he'll be up day one on the archive and I can post the code here, right? I'll post it here as soon as I can for anyone interested.


I can tell you he's face 3 though with heavy customization. I mostly focused on high cheekbones, a lowered nose and mouth to compensate for a lengthened chin, and a broad jaw. I'll have the exact code to export as soon as it's up!

Women get nothing but cornrow or straight hair. Or cut real short I guess.

The plus side being that they don't look like shit "ingame" anymore thanks to quality control and forcing models skeleton on the users.

You can still change them significantly to alter their looks as illustrated above.

Is it not possible to edit the default face at all? I actually like the base one you start with but his little scraggly half beard thing is just weird to me, wish I could edit just that and use the face.

I am seeing a recurring pattern of puffy cheeks that just looks unflattering in so many shots and angles and makes almost every female face look the same.

How did testing not tell them regressing from DAI was a mistake.

Hopefully the patches add more options when I run my femryder through on my second play through. Best VO I always go renegade/asshole

To be fair I often like puffy cheeks on females when I design them in a CC, and it seems many others do too. Think there's lots of good examples of fem-Ryders in this thread without puffy cheeks, and I don't think it's a symptom of the CC itself.

A lot of the females do look really similar though because there are only about 5 good presets. When you only have that many decent presets, and you can't change the actual shape of the eyes, nose, mouth, etc. you're going to have a lot of very similar looking Ryders.

Thank you, but unfortunately not. He wouldn't be difficult to recreate, though. Kinda just copied Daniel Dae Kim's bone structure LoL Might recreate him and upload sliders if enough people liked him. I'm hoping they make a patch that enables us to upload faces for people after we're out of the CC.

The CC isn't good enough for that I think since you can't change a lot of things like brow/nose/mouth/eye types and are stuck with what you get from the 9 preset faces.
