Meh.. I hope it's early

Is this a shooter?
Shooter RPG?
RPG?

Don't see anything stunning here, but the gameplay should at least be solid. Looks kind of generic sci-fi.

The last pic, WTF? Seriously, some of the media coming out today is just ridiculous

I don't think it looks worse than Too Human. Sure, the draw distance seems a bit rough, and the lighting and polygonal detail is slightly off, but it has nicer-looking textures and overall more of a unique visual identity.

Guys for a Bioware RPG this looks great. KOTOR and JE looked ass on xbox. Remember they have a year left to go in production on this most likely. This should prove to be awesome.

So true, makes me cry deep inside :lol

Looks reasonable if a bit generic but ill probably buy it anyway since I like KOTOR. Like the fat thing in the first image tho ;p

If anyone draws a conclusion about either of these games, you need to be smacked.

There are no more than 5 screenshots for each, and no movies.

I like the look of this a lot better than the Too Human stuff. Too Human looks like it's still using Gamecube textures.

the barrel of that gun is no next-gen enough

It's an RPG and probably has several hundred weapons, you can't expect the same kind of weapon detail in this kind of game that you'd see in an action game for FPS.

Bioware created a great engine with KotOR, but afterwards they proceeded to play it out with KotOR2 and JE. Please give us a new gameplay engine Bioware!!

i expect next gen to be next gen....is that too much to ask (no for Kojima of course)

BioWare is all about gameplay, this will rock

They're also all about the rock solid art direction. While technically not THAT impressive, it makes up for it with GOOD ART.

Kind of reminds me of Alien Legion. And that's a good thing.

looks acceptable for a bioware game, considering they tend to focus on gameplay. Hopefully it is some kind of RPG.

Yes! New BioWare game! Yes yes yes!

goddamn, this industry needs more original designs. This game, Gears of War, and Too Human all look the same to me.
Those three games only vaguely look the same.

Bioware didn't even make KOTOR 2.

You mean like "Look at that blurry wall texture" or "It looks good mostly because of the art"?

We haven't seen enough textures or art to make such judgments. I want a media blowout.

Cool, I'm always all for an original attempt at sci-fi on a game console. Hollywood doesn't really have too many big science fiction flicks anymore, while the 80's were flooded with them. This makes me imagine a high production value Star Wars game next gen. The new consoles are definitely gonna allow for some amazing fantasy imagery.

This game looks like it was really inspired by Star Wars. Which is good considering Bioware's history. The first screen looks like a shot out of Episode II. The main characters uniform looks very Clone Trooper inspired, and the grass shot looks very similar to the stuff in Kotor I and II. The dude's face is definitely looking next-gen.

In case you didn't catch it, I was talking about your comments on the MGS4 showing. :D

Looks nice to me. RPG's never are cutting edge in graphics, but still, this looks great, and if it has a solid RPG engine underneath the hood, and a great story, it's going to rock. BioWare nearly always delivers. (I say nearly, because I haven't played JE, and judging from what people say around here, it's not great. Still, this is GAF.)

Well those comments are still true. MGS4 is technically marvelous, but that beauty is complemented by its art. With generic art, it wouldn't look nearly as good, IMO.

And the wall textures still don't impress me, but that's no big deal. Textures are such a last-gen concern compared to what Kojima is doing with the game.
