I think we need a WWE X Rabbids game now

Looks like a girl who used to bully me in high school.

Jinder as champ is best thing to happen to the WWE in years, finally a non mark approved OLD SCHOOL heel who actually gets heat

Hope he's booked correctly and protected

But:

There's a LET'S GO JINDER chant in this match??

God dang it.

(As in, I thought this guy was being received like an old-school heel and everyone was booing him and stuff. I guess those days really are dead. Pack it up, Fox318. It's all over.)

I was not prepared for Jeremy Corbyn to acknowledge Zack Sabre Jr.'s endorsement of the U.K. Labour Party: http://twitter.com/jeremycorbyn/status/867007211750510593

It should not be a surprise, of course, given how Sabre likes to talk about how wrestling is for everyone and his shirt:

But is Fire Walk With Me?

I want that shirt.

British wrestlers seem to be the more progressive, open minded of this carny industry.

ZSJ, British Strong Style, all seem to be nice guys, also Progress is a pretty welcoming and inclusive company. I need to support them more.

Progress does the most random selections ever for this weekend's SSS16 tournament by having one person who doesn't watch wrestling draw what he thinks the wrestlers look like based on their names alone. Then another person who doesn't know anything about wrestling pairs up the drawings to create the first round matches.

shipped is not sold.

that being said, we're never escaping yukes
Sad but true with the likely budget they have, 2K probably couldn't get it done cheaper and faster anywhere else without a front end investment.
So with Hulu, how much is cut out? I know it wont go from 3 hours to 40 minutes, but just wondering how much meat is removed. Been thinking about using that over skipping so much via TiVo

Raw without commercials is around two hours and ten minutes, I think the Hulu version is 90 minutes, so that's 40 minutes shorter.

Better off just checking the Youtube highlights.

I kinda hate the whole "XPac heat doesn't exist; as long as they're getting heat, they're over" argument, because the logical conclusion of it is that the only way to get "true heel heat" in this day and age is by being a legit awful pro wrestler.

Notice the people this argument keeps coming for. Eva Marie, Roman Reigns, Jinder Mahal. What do they all have in the common? They're all green as gooseshit in the ring (Roman has improved though, I'll give him that).

Roman never really got heat for being an awful wrestler (Eva Marie and Jinder Mahal are not even close to Roman's level), he got heat because he's a proxy for Vince.

But yeah the "any heat is good heat" argument is really bad.

All draws need to be done this way, forever.

Also Flamita vs MAndrews and Banks vs Havoc in the 1st round, 'kin hell.

Jinder not even bad in the ring. He's not dangerous in the ring like Sasha or mis-times spots like Bayley. His moveset is just vanilla like Balor.

The days of true heel heat are long gone unless you really want to stoke xenophobic and racist sentiments. And if you do, that's not really worth applauding. People need to give up that ghost.

HHH said the other day to expect more guys to get introduced on the UK show, that means more UK talent will sign, especially now that the WOS dream is dead

That Triple-H-ism always bothered the fuck out of me because if you put anyone at the head of your show they will get a reaction unless the crowd actually doesn't like your show at all. The argument that HHH, Vince and Meltzer trot out there all the time "just don't react to Roman if you don't want to see him" makes no real sense from either practical or logical standpoint. People are going to react to Jinder Mahal, too.

But they do stoke xenophobic and racist sentiments.

Unless that's the point you're making re: Jinder, United States championship, etc.

That's how Beefy and I sold out GWF 3, Karl Marks.

The "any reaction is a good reaction" mindset is just their way of justifying Roman (and previously Cena, who admittedly got far better reactions than Roman). If people stopped booing Roman and he mostly came out to silence, then their narrative would end up shifting to "at least he's not getting booed". I mean, that's pretty much the logic that defined Randy Orton for a while until the Wyatt feud happen - dude would come out to crickets, and at best mild cheers, most nights.
