Cinnpie, a popular member of the Super Smash Bros' gaming community, has recently been accused of sexual abuse. According to top player Troy Wells (known as "Puppeh"), when he was fourteen years old and fellow top player Cinnamon Dunson (known as "Cinnpie") was twenty four years old, Cinnpie manipulated him into a romantic and sexual relationship.

Puppeh alleges that during 2016, Cinnpie initiated conversations with him that pertained to sex via SnapChat and engaged in daily conversations with him via Facebook. He claims that eventually Cinnpie initiated sexual relations with him but that the most extreme act in which she engaged him was oral sex. He also states that she would psychologically abuse him by telling him that they'd engage in a nondiscrete relationship when he would become eighteen and that she'd make him delete all of their messages.

Furthermore, he claims that he was psychologically tramautized by the sight of Cinnpie with her then-boyfriend at the tournaments that they'd all attend, as well as by matches in which he'd have to play against her, all the while she was secretly engaging him in a romantic-sexual relationship.



If these allegations are true, then they're quite ironic, because Cinnpie has been a vocal proponent of Cancel Culture; her Twitter profile used to feature the tag "Speak Up" but now that these allegations have arisen, she has replaced that tag with "Do your best."

Yep. While I think that is slowly changing, you still see women teachers who sexually assault a male or even female student usually receive far less prison time.

He was 14 so was either just finishing middle school or just started high school and she was 24. She deserves to be investigated and prosecuted.

Also, he looked younger than his age of 14. He looked closer in age to my 7 year old.

it seems the Smash pro community has a bunch of pedophiles. FBI should get involved to see if their was some organizational or ringleaders aspect to the whole thing. The whole situation is gross.

Factors early on in predators lives' turn them into abusers. No sane person finds themselves around younger people a lot and one day thinks "Hmm, time to touch some of these undeveloped children inappropriately".

My guess? Some kind of carryover from the middle ages when people lived short lives so had sexual relations with barely developed young people. It carried on through the years in ways, and now only sick people look at children like that.

Schools are breeding grounds for child predators. There are countless stories about teachers abusing students or upper classmen abusing lower classmen.

There are cases, yes and as to be expected, but if it was rampant in schools there would have been a lot more stories and pushback decades ago. Molestation, as the evidence shows, tends to happen frequently:

1. Between family members, where there is familiarity, trust, and chances for prolonged isolated contact
2. Within religious institutions, where there is familiarity, trust, and chances for prolonged isolated contact
3. In countries that have extremely lax laws and cultures that look the other way (or even condone it)

I don't think a Nintendo event in a first world country is some sinister gathering place that is conducive to developing child molesters. Nor are theme parks, Chuck E' Cheese, etc.

Only 20% of child predators are pedophile. The rest are sexual abusers who do it to assert power and dominance. Most of the time it's not even sexual for them, they use sex cause it's a good tool to feel powerful and it doesn't leave traceable marks like a beating would. (Also sex is a taboo so children learn early on not to talk about it) And they target children because they are very vulnerable. They are easy to manipulate and control. It's much harder to do with an adult.
