People do realise as well that Nintendogs as 29 and 30 on the Media Create chart probably means that those two versions alone did about 15k each, so it's another 40k+ for Nintendogs as well this week.
And it's also been said a few times that if you combine both versions of Pokemon then you have roughly been doing about the same numbers as Animal Crossing last few weeks... and 700k+ for each version isn't out of the question.

Since every possible DS hooray comment is already posted...
Tales of the Abyss did AMAZING.
2nd best start for the series this generation (only behind the best seller title in the series, Destiny 2, which did 446k in the same period).
It already surpassed TOTALS of Symphonia GC, Symphona PS2 and Legendia PS2....and it surpassed Rebirth PS2 4 days sales by a good amount (335k vs 405k).
I guess 'tales of' is going to be sony exclusive again (in domestic consoles I mean), it does quite better this way.
PD: It won't meet Namco expectations anyway :lol

Well, Slime, DBZ and Mushi King did another ~30k each should stay flat or increase over next few weeks, 90k for Tamogotchi.
I'd say that's pretty solid and other titles lingering lower down the charts.
It is first party software thats ruling though, this week alone on DS:
AC 180k
MK 145k
Poke 80k
BT 60k
GBT 50k
Dogs 45k
Dare 35k
Torouze 15k
Sawaru 10k
=620k plus ~180k third party so 800k plus others outside top 30-40 so 1m this week would be about right.

Just btw.: the DS/PSP LTD marketshare is 65.89%/34.11% (up from 64.74%) and the last week it was higher than that for DS was the week ending with February the 27th (with 66.68%).

The only thing counteracting the DS sales for Nintendo are the dismal sales of the Micro. Frickin lower the price already, Nintendo!!!

I doubt Nintendo care. It's the third installment of a system with a large userbase that they don't desperately need to increase it, and I'm sure they're making profit on simply selling the hardware alone.
They might reduce it, but not until they can still make a decent profit. Unlike a new system or one still building its userbase, Nintendo really don't need it to sell. Not to the point where they'll take a loss anyway.
