Highest selling game in 2005 for week Dec 12 - 18, 2005 is 368K+
Second highest is 192K, and third is 159K (all famitsu data).

If DSL really do 400K, then it is very probable that it can do 613K next week (1.5 Million - the first three weeks sales).

as others have commented, i've noticed ds, and nintendogs, is sold out everywhere i've looked here in the uk, with retailers saying mid-late jan for new stock.

nintendo really could've done with a few million more this year.

I think the Media Create charts will be much different. Pokemon is split up into the two versions and I think the Mega Man games would be too (three versions there).

Nintendo really needs to get some more Wii systems out there. Sure, they have a sizeable lead in Japan right now (with the other systems practically floundering), but they could build that up so more than what it is now.

Pokemon returns to the thrown which isn't suprising. But where the hell did Kirby's newfound popularity come from? Damn I thought Mario or Love and Berry would be ahead of it. And Megaman looks like it'll surpass 100k this time.

I was just checking wikipedia page on the iPod, in the last 4 years it has sold aroundd 68 million. Now I don't know if that is worldwide or USA. But I think its WW. In 2 years the DSL is on 30 million. Does anyone think could reach that type of success.

If you look at the sales of the ipod, its a a j-shaped curve, kinda like its exponential. This is similar to what we are seeing with the DS. Its ironic, because the DSL is very Apple-ish, esque in design.

DQM:J is DQM:J, it wasn't released yet. Fushigi no Dungeon Shiren is part of the Mysterious Dungeon series. DQM is nothing like Mysterious Dungeon.
