And then there's General Knowledge Training out in October, which should do decent numbers through to Christmas...

6 games in the top 10.
14 in the top 20.
19 in the top 30.

Yeah, DS is on its knees in Japan.

Unless it has 11 games in the top 10 then it is dying. Deal with it people.

Nice to see FFIII still going pretty strong. So since these sales (17th), FFIII will have 10 days of freedom before Pokét0n is unleashed. I hope it will sell over 100k in this time.

Jesus I need ot poll the mods on banning people with those *DF avatars. You might as well go outside wearing shirts that say "I am a manchild, this shirt is proof of how pathetic I am" all in capital letters on XXXL size t-shirts.
yes yes yes those avatars are ****ing annoying, I cant believe that Sony fans are actually worse than Nintendo fans now.

Famitsu data, up to Sep 3, 2006 :
Rune Factory Harvest Moon 58,388
Rhythm Tengoku 101,860
Mario Basketball 3 on 3 264,259

Tomorrow we might get the latest Famitsu data (up to Sep 10, 2006).

Cosmonaut X said:
Cheers for that.

The RF numbers are slightly disappointing as I thought it had passed 75,000 by now. Assuming it doesn’t bounce up again, we’re probably looking at lifetime sales of <100,000 – do we have any indication of whether that would be deemed a success by the publisher?

Bear in mind, that Famitsu data is up to September 3rd -- it's almost a month old.

Cosmonaut X said:
Both Rhythm Tengoku and Hoops are doing well, though. It seems like Hoops could achieve something in excess of 300,000 yet which is pretty impressive for a handheld Mario Sports title, and 100,000+ for a quirky title like Tengoku is great – especially when it appears that it’s been by word-of-mouth rather than any great marketing push.

Both are doing very well. Hoops will absolutely pass 300k -- Media Create had it at 288,136 last week.

It's all mixed up! Put it in the right order! :)

DS: 1,300

Tingle last week had a big drop, probably it's sold-out cause i remember someone said first shipment was 80k units...
if not sold-out it's like FF3, high demand cannot be satisfied by lower weekly stocks

Hey! Where'd you find those?

Stumpokapow

listen to the mad man
Every hour the DS sells one week's worth of XBox 360 sales. Every hour the XBox 360 sells 5 units. One unit per 12 minutes. You can see the tumbleweeds go by.

PantherLotus

Professional Schmuck
I'm going to need a graph of the full year of DS vs. PSP sales (JPN) for me to be able to grasp the current trend.

Thanks in advance

Sooooooooooooo.... Should I drop the hammer? Yea/Nay?

PS: People who actually embraced the "Defense Force" shit, are dumber than I initially thought plausible. Talk about completely going over peoples' heads...
