Kind of low MnGP first day numbers. But I guess it's a series that gathers most of it's sales not on the first day, it'll have good legs.
NMH's numbers are not bad, expected worse. Uncharted's numbers were expected, no?

Price drop and new colour were a month ago..it has gotten more mileage out of that than a lot of people might have thought pre-pricedrop.
Holidays - sure, but Wii is only just about getting back to 'pre-slump' non-holiday numbers (apparently?)..so it may not be the rising tide for all boats as one might have thought.
All that said, I'd like to see PS3 doing better, but at least it's still not back to pre-pricedrop numbers.
Ceramic white wasn't a month ago. Price drop for the old models was more than a month ago.
Sure Wii has sold insanely well during usual slow months but I wasn't talking about Wii in my post anyways. Wii's numbers are certainly not spectacular but over 70k is a pretty healthy number.
Sure PS3 does better since before the price drop but I think we can all agree that PS3 pulled pathetic numbers before, it's still tracking behind the GAMECUBE.

Wii&PS3 sales so bad...
SMG,new PS3 model,WE 2008,Dinasty Warriors,RE:UC,Wii Fit...Things will improve next year,but it's sad that we've come to this.
(almost )5 year-old PS2 would have obliterated Wii&PS3
Week 47 (2004) PS2 108,148
Week 48 (2004) PS2 93,829
Wii comparisons:
At 53 weeks, Wii is where GCN was at 226.9 weeks (January 13, 2006), where GBA was at 39.8 weeks (December 21, 2001), where DS was at 53.0 weeks (December 3, 2005), where
PS2 was at 62.9 weeks (May 12, 2001), and where PSP was at 91.2 weeks (September 4, 2006).
What's the use of comparing the systems at totally different points in their lifecycle?
