Dunno, as neither are out yet. I mean, so far as we know Crystal Chronicles is in-house, but we didn't find out who did RW until people got the game and the title screen popped up. I would imagine FFT A2 is being made by the same internal team that made FFTA (we already know it's got the same director, Murasawa).

I know you compared those 2 games, but you said that PSP hasnt a big userbase in Japan, you didnt say compared to DS userbase, you said it wasnt big. Thats why i asked if 5.8 million is considered small, i thought maybe you didnt know PSP had sold that much. The DS userbase is indeed like 3 times bigger so the PSP userbase is smaller compared to this, but i wouldnt say that 5.8 million units sold goes as "not a big userbase" even if you compare it to DS or not.

It seemed like a rhetorical question just for flamming sakes. Sorry if I'm missinterpreted it. PSP sales are above average thx to Monster Hunters but not stellar in any case.

Sure, remakes > ports, but still isn't such a commitment as new IP, sequel and prequel. the whole "ambitous" thinky was missleading cause its subjective, still I think Square Enix was riding on the success of the DS and weren't fully commit to it. They tested the waters and are now fully commited to it. Sure took time.

Amazing Wii numbers! I thought there was beginning to be a slowing down in sales and a need for more software, but this bump is incredible and pretty much debunks that theory.

I would have thought so.

Given the budgets and time invested in the title I think Square-Enix expects it to happen.

EDIT - Could the MP8 numbers be wrong? Famitsu numbers from last week put MP8 at around 150,000 with a LTD of around 430,000. Having a total of 540,000 would mean sales of ~110,000.
