Edit: Just went through the year's Media Create numbers and there were only two weeks where the #1 game sold less than 59,000, so not that stupid a question!

Err it's pretty likely. 360 sold 40,000 when Blue Dragon came out.

Famitsu already reported that the 360 sold around 5000 this week.

Again, the list is full of errors. Oblivion is listed as XB360 when it's the PS3 version, and the Yugioh game is listed as PS2 when it's actually a PSP game.

Nope. Looking back at what Famitsu says for the week, anyway, Halo was ~30K its first week.

I do not think anyone is taking it that seriously. No need to go into spin mode.

Only one time has X360 gotten closer to PS3 and Wii than this week. At least, assuming MC doesn't say something wildly different from those early Famitsu numbers. The week of 2006-12-04 combined

The 360 version did well as well. Who would have known. Well being over 40K as I recall. More then you would think though.

Yeah, I'm glad to see both version make a dent over there. Such a great game.

For the userbase, it's a good debut for Halo 3. It will drop off a cliff like all big debuts on the 360 do, and the #1 is just landing on a slow week, but hey.
