Media Create Sales: Week 45, 2016 (Nov 07 - Nov 13)

The usual blog might give a hint for Sun / Moon initial shipment tomorrow and how many of these 10m headed to Japan. North of 2m is a sure bet but how much more than that number is a question.

I expect PS4 to really pull away in the coming months.
 
Pokemon at 3m opening and PS4 taking off. With the predictions in this page I start to think there is a contest for the most crazy one.
 
A few mobile updates:

1.) Square Enix's newest mobile games, Akashic Re:cords and Guardian Codex, went nowhere.
2.) However, Final Fantasy Legends 2 seems to be recovering pretty strongly with the relaunch. We'll see if that holds.
3.) Konami has launched Yu-gi-oh: Duel Links in Japan (and seemingly globally on Android?). It will be interesting to see how that one does, since Konami is strong in mobile, but pretty much only with sports titles.
4.) Gung-Ho has launched their newest game, Seventh Rebirth. It looks very high effort, as is probably best depicted by this trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1STMQYLKiRo. It will be interesting to see if they can get another hit going, since they've struggled with that a lot.

Those XIII numbers are looking very good right about now. I would be happy with XV doing half of that opening.

FF15 selling 1/3 of the last single player FF mainline game.

Square-Enix, go home.

just do FF16 for mobile and call it a series.

Ha ha, that was funny typo. Has there ever been a console that sold 900k during a given week? I remember the DS having insane sales during holiday months, but not sure how high it went.

By the way, no blog leak regarding Pokémon shipment? I know there's no Day 1 sell-through since it's not a Thursday release, but hopefully we get something about the shipment.
