I meant for the 3DS, just based on the games charting. Especially Hatsune.
To be fair, it doesn't particularly scream 'front-loaded title' to me. If it's a success, it would always be so as a sleeper hit.I forgot about that game lol. Level-5 am cry.
i was wrong last week, but this week i have a good feeling that vita will pull up a bit, maybe topping 11k.
Long-term, maybe, but in the last few weeks it's *consistently* dropped about 1.1k per week. Since the spikes left the system, there's been no sign of any stabilisation. It'll have to happen sometime, but there's no evidence of it yet.But its slowed down considerably so it could increase, but not to 11k I think. Only a few hundred.

Prior to the webcast thing i thought that could be a possibility but if anything that could've done more harm than good
It'll spark a hot debate if/when Vita is sub 10k that's for sure
Wouldn't any effect *that* had not actually show up until *next* week's sales figures?
Is there a specific reason for us to expect this?
The game seems to be solid for all we know, but I'm not sure it may appeal Japanese market, whereas I reckon Nintendo is expecting it to sell better in the Western countries.Maybe am naive, but everything about Icarus makes me think its going to very very big.

Yes, and we are dealing with low lumbers already, Vita selling more than last week is not impossible. Also, wouldn't this be the week that reflects the Vita Heaven announcements?

We know Japan loves Mario and MonHun; we know they're not terribly excited about Zelda and Wipeout. Do we have anything to really isolate if this is "the return of a long-lost classic" or just another 3DS game in the general Japanese audience's psyche?
More likely Vita > 20K GAF goes wild angry and upset.
Yeah, no. Don't go there.
More likely Vita > 20K GAF goes wild angry and upset.
well, honestly i don't GAF will go wild for >10k if that's around the same numbers we got last week
sure, we could know that vita finally stopped it's downward spiral, but still not amazing
Vita>20k = GAF goes wild
anyhow amazing top 10 for the 3DS... how the heck did MGS managed to get number 5?
/bows to nintendo 3DS domination
I would be happy to see Vita over 20K
maybe in June?

There's only one Takao.I wouldn't continue down this path of victimhood lest you planned to martyr yourself in the process.

How well did Sin and Punishment do, because that's the type of game Icarus seems similar to. If Japan normally doesn't go for that style of game, I don't think a character from Nintendo's past is suddenly going to change anything.
Opiate's tag is so well found !
Talking about Takao, where has been BP these days ?
The difference is that Kid Icarus has Smash Bros Brawl for attention/appeal and will probably actually be marketed and advertised.

However, Kid Icarus will do MUCH better than the two S&P
That's quite a given, but it's not a good deal.
Maybe it may help somehow this is been developed by Sakurai and that it's on a handheld that's having a good momentum going.
It will help by the HUGE marketing effort Nintendo is putting on this game.
How have Sakurai's other non-SSB games sold (KAR, Meteos, etc)?
