Comes down to how many more units S-E can churn out this week. Surely, from a business-minded person, S-E should be thinking about putting out as many units as possible this week to take advantage of any Pokémon shortages.

When is this game going to be in stock? Amazon Japan seems sold out, and on Yahoo Auctions it is going for quite a bit.

It's not COMGNET that's off. It's Square's attempts to create a valid formula to extrapolate from COMGNET's numbers a model that can predict the sales for all of Japan, despite having no reason to believe that COMGNET's small sample of stores is lends itself to a proper statistical model.

This should be what everyone was waiting for. I'd like to see how many more Nintendo got out, but the end of the week. Although I doubt it will be a lot. After saving on all those other games they only managed 2 million Pokemon, their not going to be able to ship out more than another 250,000 or so. Then again we didn't get any confirmation so maybe they were planning a set amount to be delivered to retailers everday or something. And the Wait continues...

I still think FFIII will get a nice boost due to those not being able to find Pokémon just grabbing the next RPG they could find. In fact, it could help Tingle's sales as well!

Wow, I'm actually kind of surprised with Sega Brain Training for the PSP. How do you input the information without a touchscreen, though? Usually it's a very fast game in which you have to write out numbers in a split second.

I was talking about the latest Sega Brain Training series for NDS :p And it.. um.. bomba

Actually, BT for PSP was mostly multiple choice questions...

beacuse of the Pokemon (release), DS has been shipped more than usual
and it has been sold around 300,000 units
it is over 80% of the total hardware sales
it will be funny and enjoyable to see the Pacman graph (this week)

Another 300k in only one week. I expected more, but if it is the 80% of the total, it means that Nintendo has shipped 360k. And not 500k as a rumor said.
I think that peaks like the 600k in last december will be impossible again if Nintendo cannot produce enough DS.

To the best of my knowledge, that was never confirmed, just guesswork on the part of forumers.
