Yeah this isn't going to go anywhere. You can't split a letter and call it yours. 110% sure others have done the same 1000 times over before.

I'd say "Fuck Megan Rapinoe!" but honestly I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. She is the scum of the earth and is just seeking attention.

I like both of them, but I think Rapinoe has a point. The logo is basically an X, so there is always going to be some similarity. However, the slogan about not waiting and building it is a bit too similar. I think The Rock needs to talk to whoever was responsible for generating this marketing material, because it's an expensive and embarrassing process to alter this stuff after the public reveal. It's Rich Energy all over again.

In my mind she will be standing before a judge making this case and he will just start laughing at her and tell her to get the hell out of his courtroom.

Then the Rock gives her a Rock Bottom.

ya i think the only thing that is noteworthy is that while the split X is similarish it's hardly enough but it's because the woke bullshit that's infested into the marketing of even things like the XFL they did this whole ">Together<", "INTERSECTION OF DREAMS & OPPORTUNITY" shit which just makes it so fucking easy for lesbian Karen to make the case. Hopefully next time they hire a good PR team and not a bunch of idiots.

This is comical.

On the one hand, I despise Megan Rapinoe and everything she stands for. A useless clown if I ever saw one.

On the other hand, the branding and messaging ("iNcLuSivItY") of the XFL is dumb.

Let them fight 😂

Can somebody who gives a shit about football explain to me why the XFL has failed every single time when they never even attempted to compete with the NFL? If it's purely due to the lack of skill compared to NFL players, then how is college football so popular?

I mean, I'm a fan of blowjobs, and I think I'd accept an additional blowjob on top of what I'm already getting, even if it wasn't the top of the craft.

Have you ever watched an XFL game?

I watched like two Tampa games during the XFL's first attempt way back into the day, because I was into professional wrestling at the time. I suppose what I'm saying is why doesn't football have a lucrative minor league?

I understand that it doesn't, I just want to know why.

Just a guess, but maybe because that’s what college football is for. Maybe an NFL minor league would skim talent from the colleges more than they would like?

Dunno.
But only a small fraction of the kids playing college football will ever have a hope of making it into the NFL. If college football is a multi-billion dollar industry, why isn't that level of play profitable when the players aren't playing for free? You would think a minor professional league for all the washouts would be viable if they didn't try to compete with the NFL.

Edit - I have the same questions about arena football. I don't think there's some conspiracy or something, but I'm just curious why college football is profitable while non-NFL football isn't.

Yeah good question. Its funny because I fucking love college football... and I fucking love the NFL. But I dont give a shit about arena and I probably wont give a shit about the XFL lol. Well who knows maybe I will, have to see how it turns out.

But I think college works because it gets a pass for not being as talented as the NFL... while Arena and XFL dont get that same pass.

In college football... we know everyone there is just a college kid playing cause they love it and they want a shot at the NFL. So you don't look at a team and go "just a bunch of guys that can't make it into the league." We know this what happens before the NFL, not directly in competition with the NFL. So you can enjoy it and be like "Bama is the fucking best" cause no one is really comparing them to the Rams. You've got that mental separation.

Also college is more closely tied to peoples background and upbringing ill bet. So theres a little bit of that wild fanbase mentality going on haha. I grew up in Oklahoma and went to college there, Oklahoma football is like the biggest thing going on by far lol. I think the stadium holds like 86K people and when the Sooners play the stadium becomes one of the largest cities in the whole state. College football is like a goddamn cultural experience for people haha.

Arena and XFL I dont think have those advantages going for them, and since it takes place after college... its probably just way easier to go "just some dudes that cant make it into the league" and lose interest.

I know when they did XFL redux a few years ago they tried to fix that by positioning it as like an off season supplement to the NFL, where players could get a second chance look. But then COVID started right away and wiped it out.
