That's just whats on police record. Gibson's racism and homophobia has been brought up by others around him many times before. He seems to a huge anti semite in particular, and a conspiracy nutter (no surprise, the two often go hand in hand).

Hollywood actor needs her career saved by a cringey BBC drama, says it all. Bringing up decades old shit feels low as fuck, kicking Mel when he's down trying to make herself relevant.

I mean is this supposed to be shocking? Or even news? We know what Mel is like with a drink in him. Even with the black mark against him, Mel is still by far the bigger talent.

Everyone likes to portray themselves as holier than thou, its nauseating and fake as fuck. Like you've never said anything that would fall into this category?

Winona Ryder (such a stupid name) dishing extremely old dirt to get some limelight, especially after him trying to make amends is just as hateful. Mel says stupid stuff cause he's an alcoholic. Kind of like the same way someone with tourettes or dementia blurts out racist and offensive stuff. It's on our brains thanks to a rotten society. He's a flawed human, but way more human than this piece of work sticking the knife in after all this time for brownie points and attention. I'm sure someone less scummy would just let sleeping dogs lie instead opening this old wound again. She must be really desperate. After corny BBC dramas she will have to resort to doing sofa adverts (sorry Owen Wilson lol)

IIRC last time you asked made me do this, I wasted an hour watching a nutters documentary and provided a detailed breakdown of why she was full of shit, which you proceeded to completely ignore. No thanks. Just google it if you're actually interested.

No one's perfect, but I don't think we should "prefer to listen to anyones homophobic and racist rants" just because they made a good movie.

It's OK to like Mel Gibson and Mel Gibson movies while also condemning the dumb shit that comes out of his mouth.

It's a bit irrational to expect someone to support every comment in a celebrity gossip thread on NeoGAF as if it were a thesis.

Mel Gibson's racism and homophobia is well known. A quick google search would confirm this and would not be an onerous use of your time if you were actually interested.

As I said, this impression AFAIK was based off of I think 2 incidents, which I don't consider a mountain of evidence exactly. I asked for more and you got butthurt and defensive.
