He's a little high waisted, so that's not the best look for him. Love the color and the tailoring, though.

What's the big deal about the no socks thing?

It's a common look. I've never done it personally, but you see it around all the time.

Edit: Also I liked this guy :(

Whether you like it or not, "No socks" is not "hipster," its a style aesthetic created and championed by a billion dollar fashion industry including designers, clothiers, stylists, models and photographers.

The "hipster" style is just a hivemind aesthetic of pale kids who fish crap out of vintage stores, UO and their grandparents closets to set themselves apart from the GP in any way possible. Stop using that word to describe any type of fashion aesthetic that's not popular at Old Navy circa 2006.

You're talking to guys who probably spend 3 minutes a year looking at what clothes to wear. You expect them to know that?

This. Not hating on them, some people honestly just don't care what they wear and look like. Just bugs me when they start labeling everything they don't like as "hipster".

About 10 years ago my local Men's Wearhouse tossed2 suits that I had paid for but hadn't picked up. It had been a number of months but I had overcome Mono and then gotten tied up by grad school in the meantime. Instead of calling me they just tossed the suits and the best they could offer me was a discount on 2 new suits, not to replace what I had paid for.

Since then I have boycotted Men's Wearhouse, and today it looks like it paid off. Suck it George!

Nobody wears that crap anymore, that's why. Its all about Suit Supply now.

from left to right:
Loafers with a suit, OMFG lol
Rolled pant cuffs with no socks, get the fuck out
see the second one
fourth almost looks like not-a-douche but for the tan laces on dark brown shoes

You'd think before the photoshoot they'd do some alterations to make sure the clothes actually fit the model. Kinda important with menswear. Even the most fashion-forward stuff should still be tailored well, or the gentleman looks like an ass.
