Did anyone notice that Kaz isn't wearing aviators anymore, but different sunglasses?
FUCK THAT I just bought aviators to look like Kaz and now they change his glasses.

Some William S Burroughs/Word-Virus stuff going on in that trailer.

They also reference the Sapir/Whorf hypothesis which happens to be the cornerstone of a little book called '1984'. It posits that the structure of language affects the way we view and understand the world. An example would be, if you don't know any words for something like 'freedom', how can you identify, express or even understand the experience?

That's some heavy shit.

If you had watched the briefing for MGS1 you would have known that. He dyes his hair before infiltrating Shadow Moses, because of the similarity with Liquid.

Yes but it might be just the light in the scene. Has there been anywhere (previously) a fact that he is blond?'

e: does it really matter, it is confirmed now :)

That's even Cam Clarke narrating. It must be.

Where's Hayter when we need him?

I think it´s the new VA for Zero who was narrating. The part where he talks about The Boss.

Skullface also seems to dissapear at the end. He nods to Snake, and then dissapears behind him.

Maybe SPOILER ABOUT SKULLFACE:
Could it be that Snake schizophrenic and Skullface his alter ego is?

This is being discussed in chat.... but what about the cassette tape noise at the start of the trailer? this seems to be recordings of sorts. So what would that mean?

This seems plausible.

Have you even played Ground Zeroes?

They have recordings of him. People have seen him in GZ.

Skullface and Big Boss are connected somehow. A post I made some time ago about this:

Skull face seems to quote Big Boss' exact lines in a couple of tapes. In one tape where he tortures a POW, he literally quotes Big Boss saying: "Nothing to be ashamed of, pain gets the better of us all." The exact words Big Boss said to Chico during Peace Walker.

Skull Face also uses another Big Boss quote when he is torturing Chico. He says: "Chico, growing up means choosing how you're going to live your life." This is exactly the same line Big Boss says during Peace Walker when he meets Chico for the first time.

Skull Face and Big Boss are obviously connected somehow. What's also strange is that in every Metal Gear game the first character shot you see is that of Snake. Look at all the intro's of MGS1, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4, MGS PW. Snake is always the first character that's introduced on screen. But in Ground Zeroes the first character that we see is Skull Face.

Another weird moment is when Big Boss rescues Chico from his cell, Chico is scared of him. "No, go away". And seems to panic. But this can also mean that Chico realises Snake fell into the trap that Skull Face set for him.
