If I buy 10 copies will you guys consider bringing Silent Hill Downpour to PC (and other titles from here on out)?
Cough*link*cough

Of all the games that aren't on Steam you chose Downpour?

Silent Hill 1/2? MGS 1/2? Future ports of MGS 3/4/V?

You are disowned.

You guys think I'll be able to run this decently with my gtx460 or nah

I wonder if it's a good port, worth the $20 or to keep waiting. I haven't played the game on any of the consoles, and I don't know what the hype is about. I can probably live without the game but if it's good... well.

Speaking of DMC 4, how was the PC port?

Amazing. If it's on sale for $5 with DMC3 again (which wasn't a great port) defo get it on Steam.

As for the requirements, we'll see when it launches in January. But I'd extremely hope it's optimized to where hardware that ran previous gen/PS360 titles like it just fine is able to run it just fine. It's only that new Zandatsu option and stuff that would be extremely CPU intensive.

As it is, so long as it runs at 60FPS with better image quality and no huge drops for doing normal Zandatsu's that it did on the PS3 version, I'm cool.

What cards?
No idea why they weren't included except we're still new to this.

Tell Konami/Platinum/Kojima you can always patch them in a week or month later. Never too late to include stuff like that when it's added. I mean Sequence, by Feep from here/GAF, just added cards after like one-two years from launch.

The moment when you realize that this game recommends the same CPU that Watch Dogs does

Games have been making ridiculous requirements lately that, frankly, don't make any sense. It all culminated with COD: Ghosts 'requiring' 6GB of ram, 4GB of which weren't even being used.

Watch people run this on a Q6600 and a GTX9800

They should really get some images of it out. I'm on the edge of pre-ordering, but I want to be sure it's a port that's worth it.

It's $20 fucking dollars, man. ReggieWhatIsWrongWithYou.gif

High CPU requirement and low GPU requirement.
It's gonna be a crappy unoptimized port.

Or, as one might surmise if they knew a single damn thing about the game, it's a very computationally intense game with sparse and relatively simple graphics.

DMC3 port is easily fixable with a widescreen and xinput patch.
Is that true? I remember reading something that the game's framerate was tied to the music. Not exactly sure how accurate that is but that port has a lot of problems besides just wide-screen support and controller options.

I've already played through the game on PS3, but don't have that copy anymore. I'll buy it again to beat it on PC, if the port is quality. I really just want to see that game with higher res assets in 1080P, though.

Money's tight, man. :P

I believe that issue only occurred on certain, older, graphics cards.

Worked great for me at 1080p and v-sync'd at 60 FPS

Widescreen hack isnt perfect. The style bar isnt located properly.

also the music thing is for really old PCs. Doesnt matter anymore.

I dunno I watched someone play a bit of the DMC3 PC port and it chugged on his modern system. DMC4 is a perfect god like port though, the definitive version.

Man at this rate, I might as well sell my PS3 copies. I'm just going to roll with DMC 4 though, since i've already got HD collection.

All the more reason to put more load on GPU which is better at computing with its 1000s of tiny cores.

Steam sale has this for $19.99 right now 33% off, I'm so in but i'm 21 cents short on my Steam Wallet and I lost my card the other day and I can't complete the sale!!! BOLLOCKS!

Steady second place above Batman Origins and Bioshock Trilogy. I mean, I know the steam top sellers are not to be trusted entirely, but I want to believe that's good news (for pre-order expectations at least).

The Steam support wrote me back (I asked them to add the price difference to my Steam wallet):

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

The title has been removed from your account and a credit has been applied to your Steam Wallet. You can now purchase the game again for the correct price.

See, you just have to be nice and actually write them, because the won't do it if you don't ask.

Wholly crap! So cool!!!

Okay so I see that I can sell them but Steam says that my account is unable to sell cards? Is that just because that card isn't for sale or some other reason?

Edit - I have 156 games, I'm going card hunting :D

Who is eligible to participate in the Community Market?
The account must have a successful purchase older than thirty days, but not older than a year. Also, Steam Guard must be enabled for 15 days.
If you have had your password reset by Steam Support you will need to wait another 15 days with Steam Guard enabled before you can list items on the Community Market.
If a chargeback has occurred on your account you will be eligible 30 days after your next successful purchase.
If a password is reset on an active account, the market will be restricted for 5 days. If an account has not been active within the past two months, this restriction will last for 30 days. this does not affect password changes, only password resets.
Adding a new purchase method to an account will trigger a market restriction for seven days.

Haha... WHEEEEEEE@!@

I have so many cards, and many many double ups.

Metal Gear Rising GET!

So good!

Edit - Letters, was an 'unmarketable card'

Yes, I've also made a bad experience with my national support.
I had some kind of problem, which I don't remember anymore, and they just sent me that typical FAQ reply.
