Well, shit. I pushed the resolution up to 1440p to see what would happen and the game crashed on me.

EDIT: Now it crashes on launch. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Fuck, I have the same problem which I had when playing any Crysis. It's locked to 24fps while playing on my Bravia. Can i somehow fix this?

In regards to the wireframe issue I had on the previous page. It seems if you have Crossfire enabled it'll screw it up and enable wireframe flashing a lot.

Try deactivating vsync and activating it again, running windowed and then fullscreen again, or just delete your 24hz 1080p resolution using NVidia Control Panel

Hmm, my 1080P option doesn't allow the game to fit the whole of my television, but the lower resolutions do. Also, the TV is saying it's 1080i and not P.

People who thought the game would be pretty will of course be disappointed. the game ran at ~60fps on consoles and this is just a quick port to pc

Update your FW is the first thing but surely there's something in your GPU's settings.

You have to create a custom resolution. Of 1920X900. That's how I fixed that issue with Crysis one. You still get 16x9 with that res.

Hm, HD7850 here, the game is locked to 30fps. Unless i missed it i cant find a vsync option.

Edit: ok i just needed to restart the game, no problem now!

Is there anybody who tried pushing the res up to 1440p, had the game crash, and now can't boot the game up without it crashing? 'Cause that's me :(

Why can't Japanese devs ever get anything right with PC games? My theory as to why there's barely any Japanese PC games on Steam other than 2D or old titles is that they are afraid they'll fuck up anything that requires a shred of computing power to run.

uh oh, does this game has the same issues as Crysis when it comes to the 24hz thing? Where you can't specify a refresh rate and for some reason it defaults to the lowest so you can't play it on some TVs?

Not a dealbreaker but certainly lame.

It runs fine for me but im curious as to how to make it run at 60 fps? There seems to be no vsync option in the graphic menus and i have vsync forced in nvidia control panel for 60 fps.

They make bad ports > people don't buy their ports > their ports don't make money > they don't make ports > they don't gain any port-making experience since they make few ports > they make bad ports > ...

Another full-screen issue here... Playing on my Samsung 1080p television, and full-screen settings in game are fine until I select 1920x1080 (16:9), when I get a black screen and a message (from the tv) that the resolution is not supported (again, a 1080p television).

Huh.

Right click the games name in your Steam library, go to properties, and look around for something like check file integrity. It should fix it.

This can fix a lot of issues with many games on Steam, for what it's worth. It checks to make sure everything is exactly as it should be according to the defaults in whatever database Steam is referencing, so whatever setting is causing you to crash on launch should get reverted.

I get a black screen with full screen enabled wtf....

yes same i assume its because of my 7990 currently im moving the game folder to my game drive as it unpacked to my local disk.... sigh. and its rediscovering files really slowly.

will try with game profile crossfire setting to off once it finishes installing again.

If you have RadeonPro, setting the framerate limiter to 60 fps and forcing vsync fixes weird issues like the 24fps issue people are talking about.

To fix that problem on Crysis I created a custom resolution on AMD Catalyst. Don't know how you do it on Nvidia, but on AMD it goes like this:

  • Open Catalyst
  • Pick "My Digital Flat Panels"
  • HDTV Support
  • Add 1080p 60 NTSC, check that
  • Press add and use the arrows to create a new custom resolution. I use 1912x1076, personally.
It should now appear in the game's settings.
